NBA on ESPN – Australia’s Josh Giddey, Dante Exum and Josh Green go head-to-head as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks square off in the NBA Conference Semi Finals as part of a jam-packed NBA Playoffs schedule LIVE this week on ESPN.
The NBA Conference Semi Final schedule continues all week long LIVE on ESPN.
Eight teams remain in the hunt for the NBA Championship, with defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves progressing to the NBA Conference Semi Finals.
Wednesday May 8 is headlined by an NBA Playoff double header beginning at 9am AEST, where the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers clash in the NBA Eastern Conference Semi Finals.
The Celtics will enter this series as the favourites to progress, following a comfortable first round 4-1 series win against the Miami Heat.
Cleveland on the other hand had to go the full seven games to see off the Orlando Magic, and life will not get easier against a red-hot Boston, number one seed in the East.
Following at 11.30am AEST, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks begin their Western Conference Semi Final series.
Australia is represented across the floor in the Thunders-Mavericks showdown, with Josh Giddey leading Oklahoma City and Dante Exum and Josh Green suiting up for Dallas.
Giddey and the Thunder have hit their stride in the final portion of the season, finishing as the number one seed in the West.
The Thunder swept the New Orleans Pelicans in four games to start the post-season in the best possible fashion.
Thursday May 9 has the New York Knicks continuing their NBA Eastern Conference Semi Final against the Indiana Pacers LIVE at 10am AEST on ESPN.
Knicks fans are buzzing at the prospect of the number two seed going deep in the post-season and securing a long sought after NBA Finals appearance.
Now to keep that dream alive, New York must contend with a difficult Pacers lineup – led by star Tyrese Haliburton.
Indiana eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, clinching the series in six games.
Friday May 10 sees another LIVE NBA Playoffs double header, with the continuation of the Celtics-Cavaliers and Thunder-Mavericks series from 9am AEST.
Saturday May 11 brings another two LIVE NBA playoffs games back-to-back, where the Pacers-Knicks and Timberwolves-Nuggets face off.
ESPN delivers eight live games in the next five days as part of a bumper week of NBA Playoff action on Your Home For Hoops.
