Seven salutes 10 years of The Big Freeze – Celebrating a decade of triumphs and belly flops
It’s the football event that unites the nation and on its 10th anniversary, the Seven Network will celebrate a decade of triumphs and laughter with the hour-long special 10 Years of The Big Freeze on Monday, 10 June on Channel 7 and 7plus.
From epic costumes to hilarious belly flops, 10 Years of The Big Freeze will roll out the red carpet for a group of Australia’s biggest stars and most iconic sliders.
It will go behind the scenes of the past decade in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND), with Neale Daniher, the man whose relentless determination and passion continues to inspire millions.
Led by 7NEWS Melbourne’sTim Watson and Rebecca Maddern, alongside fellow slider, Garry Lyon, the special will showcase the most memorable moments from the past 10 years, featuring a star-studded lineup of sliders who have made The Big Freeze a uniquely entertaining spectacle, including Rhonda Burchmore, Luke Darcy, Chris Fagan, Samantha Lane, Sam Newman, Mark Robinson, Ross Stevenson and Brian Taylor.
Neale Daniher, the driving force behind FightMND, will share his reflections on the journey so far, the incredible support from the community, and his ongoing commitment to finding a cure for MND, alongside his daughter and FightMND Campaign Director, Bec, and his wife Jan.

The Big Freeze at the ‘G will return to Seven from 2.00pm AEST on 10 June, as a new group of iconic Aussies take on Australia’s coldest ice bath for Big Freeze 10, including Australian tennis legend Pat Rafter, who was announced as a slider on Wednesday morning on Sunrise.
