Seven’s Big Bash League (BBL) Final achieved record audiences in Western Australia, with Sunday night’s Perth Scorchers win delivering the biggest audience for a BBLseason decider in five years.
Across the state, 435,000 fans watched their home team claim the title, with a total TV audience of 171,000, up 126% year-on-year.
Seven’s coverage of the entire BBL season reached more than 12.4 million people nationally across Seven and 7plus Sport, which was up 2% on last summer. More than 2.4 million tuned in on 7plus Sport, up 77%. The average total TV audience nationally across the season was 664,000, up 9% year-on-year.
In WA Seven’s BBL coverage reached more than 1.19 million viewers with the total TV average audience up 13% year-on-year.
