As Australians eagerly await the 2025 season, Seven has teamed up with Western Bulldogs star forward Cody Weightman to unveil a bold and dynamic on-air promo to launch a new era of AFL coverage in 2025 on Seven and 7plus Sport.
Premiering during today’s Boxing Day Test coverage on Seven and 7plus Sport, the on-air promo celebrates Seven’s bold and modern approach to its AFL coverage in 2025, headlined by one of the competition’s most exciting young players.
Weightman and fellow Melbourne artist Rory Lynch-Wells bring Seven’s new era to life with a striking graffiti-style mural that captures the energy, passion, and contemporary feel of Seven’s AFL future.
For the first time, Seven’s AFL coverage will stream live and free on 7plus Sport, delivering fans unparalleled access to the action. The promo’s edgy vibe is amplified by US hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae’s track Hooligang, setting the tone for a season like no other.
Adding to the excitement, Seven welcomes AFL greats Kane Cornes and Nick Riewoldt to its all-star commentary team, joining a roster of renowned experts who will deliver the most comprehensive and thrilling coverage yet.
