Fox Footy on Foxtel – Fox Footy returns for another year of bumper coverage on Kayo Sports with new talent, programming changes and exclusive matches announced ahead of the 2024 Toyota AFL season.
On the back of a record-breaking 2023 – which saw streaming numbers increase by 11% year-on-year – Fox Footy has welcomed three-time Premiership star Jack Riewoldt to its full-time roster of experts.
Riewoldt will provide commentary during matches this season and will take up a Wednesday night residency on AFL 360.
The marquee show is set for a big shift with journalists Gerard Whateley and Mark Robinson returning to anchor the desk at an all-new prime time slot of 6.30pm (Monday to Wednesday).
On The Couch – hosted by Garry Lyon and featuring Jonathan Brown and Nathan Buckley – will shift to 7.30pm on Monday nights, meanwhile a new panel show with a rotating suite of football journalists, Midweek Tackle, will air at 7.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
General Manager, Fox Footy Michael Neill said,
“We’re excited to shake things up and move AFL 360 to a primetime news slot so fans can get their breaking news, analysis and opinion all in the one place.”
“Our talent roster returns with Jack Riewoldt joining the ranks. He’s a strong media performer for someone fresh out of the game and we look forward to seeing the insights he can bring to our coverage.”
A new Kayo Sports campaign launched on the weekend featuring Fox Footy ambassadors Isaac Quaynor, Tom Stewart and Chloe Molloy, amongst other star athletes and sporting legends.
With over 50 sports, including the biggest and best from Australia, and leading US sports via ESPN, the ‘Get on Board’ campaign highlights the elation and joy that sport offers, inviting all fans to come aboard and enjoy the ride with Kayo Sports.
