AFL on Seven – Seven returns to South Australia. The Front Bar and Gather Round headline an epic week in Adelaide on Seven and 7plus.

The 7AFL team is hitting the road again for Gather Round, direct from stadia across South Australia from this Thursday night, live and free on Seven and 7plus.

Kicking off with The Front Bar tonight, viewers will join resident patrons Mick Molloy, Andy Maher and Sam Pang at 8.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus, live from Adelaide Oval, where they will be joined by some of Adelaide’s most iconic football personalities including:

• Australian Football Hall of Fame Legend Malcolm Blight
• Adelaide Crows brothers Darren and Andrew Jarman
• Port Adelaide Legend John Cahill
• Four-time AFL Premiership player and Port Adelaide Premiership Coach Mark Williams
• Current Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey
• Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald

Then, straight after The Front Bar, Talking Footy returns as co-hosts James Brayshaw, Tim Watson, Joel Selwood and Trent Cotchin dissect the week’s biggest AFL headlines and cross live to 7NEWS Chief AFL Reporter Mitch Cleary on the ground in Adelaide on the eve of Gather Round.

On Thursday morning, Sunrise’s resident sports presenter Mark Beretta broadcasts live from the Pepsi Max Footy Festival in Elder Park, Adelaide, along with roving reporter Sam Mac from 5.30am AEDT. Then on Friday morning the whole Sunrise team will be live at the Elder Park Rotunda for a massive brekky party filled with huge surprise guests and prize giveaways.

On Thursday Night Footy, Seven’s team including Shaun Burgoyne, Abbey Holmes, Erin Phillips, Brian Taylor, Alister Nicholson, Joel Selwood, Dale Thomas and Emma Freedman will bring all the action from the Adelaide Crows v Melbourne clash, live and free from Adelaide Oval from 7.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7mate.

Then, on Friday night, fans are in for another huge clash when footy’s #1 commentary team featuring Brian Taylor, James Brayshaw, Abbey Holmes, Luke Hodge, Matthew Richardson and Erin Phillips return to a packed-out Adelaide Oval for the Port Adelaide v Essendon clash.

Fans can tune in for the pre-game build-up, previewing the match from 7.30pm AEDT on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus, before the match coverage kicks off at 8.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7mate.

Then, Adam Cooney, Cam Luke and Tommy Sheridan hit the screens of Seven post-match to discuss all their unique and interactive footy analysis on Armchair Experts, on 7mate and 7plus.

On Saturday afternoon, the very best of state league footy returns to Seven, when the first senior men’s representative clash between the VFL and SANFL since 2016, is broadcast live and free from Glenelg’s Stratarama Stadium on 7mate in Melbourne and Adelaide and 7plus nationally from 1.00pm AEDT.

On Saturday night, James Brayshaw, Jason Bennett, Jobe Watson, Matthew Richardson and Mark Soderstrom will deliver all the action live from the Western Bulldogs v Geelong Cats clash at Adelaide Oval, from 7.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7mate, with pre match coverage also available on 7plus.

7NEWS’ Abbey Gelmi and Mitch Cleary will be on deck at Half Time on Saturday Night Footy to present all the biggest breaking news stories live from Adelaide Oval in the Round Four edition of Saturday Scoop.

Rounding out Seven’s Gather Round coverage is Sunday’s Richmond v St Kilda match, featuring Seven’s own Luke Darcy, Jason Bennett, Jobe Watson, Shaun Burgoyne and Mark Soderstrom live from Norwood Oval at 2.30pm AEST, live and free on Channel 7.

Fans in NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia can also watch Round Four matches involving teams from their home states live and free on Channel 7.

WAFL fans are also in for a treat this Sunday, with the Round Two Subiaco v Peel Thunder match broadcast live and free on Channel 7 in Perth and nationally on 7plus from 2.00pm AWST.

Following Gather Round, the South Australian sport action continues when the 2024 Athletics Australia Championships kicks off from Thursday, 11 April, live and free on 7plus from SA Athletics Stadium.

Seven’s broadcast will include eight hours of coverage for all nine consecutive days, live and free on 7plus.

Then, the South Australian feast of sport continues on Friday, 26 April when Seven takes viewers live to The Grange golf course for the Adelaide leg of LIV Golf.

Across three jam-packed days, viewers can tune in to five hours of daily coverage of the second-year of Australia’s 54-hole showpiece event – headlined by Aussie superstar Cameron Smith – on Channel 7 and 7mate, as well as live and on-demand streaming on 7plus.
