SPA Welcomes New Chair of Screen Australia Board – Today Screen Producers Australia (SPA) congratulated Mr Michael Ebeid AM on his appointment as the new Chair of the Screen Australia Board, and Ms Megan Brownlow on her reappointment as Deputy Chair. 

SPA CEO Matthew Deaner stated

Mr Ebeid’s extensive experience and participation in the industry over a lengthy and successful career, combined with Ms Brownlow’s experience and knowledge, are important to advancing Screen Australia and its opportunities for positively impacting our industry.”

Mr Ebeid brings over three decades of experience in the media, technology, and telecommunications sectors, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SBS. Recognised for his significant contributions, Mr Ebeid was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to the broadcast media and multicultural affairs. 

Mr Deaner also acknowledged outgoing Chair Nicholas Moore AO,
