Shelter winner at MONOCLE Design Awards 2023 – Australian-based Architecture Channel Shelter is thrilled to be announced as the Winner of MONOCLE’s third annual Design Awards, for Preferred Production Company.
The MONOCLE Design Awards celebrate the best in design across the world, encompassing the finest within the design industry; from leading architecture and urban planning, to graphic design and furniture production; that are all deemed to enhance and enrich people’s lives.
These global awards recognise talent from six continents, spanning 25 countries – from Brazil to Belgium – and cover many aspects of design, from urban interventions to unique approaches for developing typefaces.
Shelter is one of two Australian companies selected in the 2023 awards, alongside The Company You Keep for their work on the refurbished Collingwood Yards.

This year’s MONOCLE Design Award winners receive a unique trophy from South Tyrolean designer Harry Thaler.
The award marks a key milestone for Shelter, which continues to craft its unique position as the channel of all things architecture and design; working both within and between the design and streaming industries.
