Seven congratulates Daisy Pearce

The Seven Network congratulates its 7AFL commentator Daisy Pearce on an outstanding AFL Women’s career which spanned seven years and saw her retire as a premiership captain.

Voted by her peers as the AFLW’s best captain across four separate years, Pearce ends her AFLW career leaving a lasting legacy on the game and women’s sport more broadly.

Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin congratulated Pearce on a stellar on-field career.

“Daisy is champion player and a champion person and much like all of Australia, we have loved watching her AFLW journey over the past seven years, here at the Seven Network,” he said.

“The reigning AFLW premiership captain, three-time best and fairest and three-time All Australian, Daisy has been a trailblazer for women in sport and we congratulate her for a fantastic on-field career.”
