Total Audiences Take Taskmaster Up 12%.

Series Lifts 12% Year-On-Year And Biggest BVOD Ever!

It was the finale of the second season of Taskmaster last night with our comedians put to through their last tests to see who would be crowned the winner and new owner of the Taskmaster trophy, a golden homage of Tom Gleeson’s mug. They tested Fun Boy’s reflexes, applied for the jobs of their dreams, showed their skills (or lack thereof) evading paparazzi and made a kung-fu film avenging a highly aggrieved scout.

While Will may have won the episode, it was love that won the series with Anne and Lloyd tying at the top. It came down to a guessing game of mass, how much did Tom’s golden head weigh with Lloyd’s deductions finally clinching the series.

Taskmaster Australia – Season 2 Finale:

  • 966,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Up 1% week-on-week.
  • Highest commercial share of the season, 18.8% in total people.
  • #1 in its timeslot in the key demos of under 50s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 entertainment show in 16 to 39s.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest total audiences ever (580,000), up 12% on 2023 average.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (61,000), up 13% on 2023 average.

With 7 day numbers, Taskmaster (Thursday, 18 July) reached 1.03 million total viewers. It was the #1 show in 16 to 39s.
