The 1% Club UK was #7 with 1 324 000 (764 000). The special, Jimeoin: Result was #10 with 1 126 000 (337 000). A repeat of Australia: Now and Then was #31 with 492 000 (191 000).

The Latest: Seven News – 229 000 (105 000)

Chicago Fire – 130 000 (59 000)

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 569 000 (1 037 000). The Block was #2 with 1 947 000 (1 030 000). Human Error was #5 with 1 365 000 (503 000). A repeat of Million Dollar Murders was #22 with 667 000 (225 000).

9News Late – 265 000 (142 000)

Law & Order: Organized Crime – 162 000 (81 000)

Deal or No Deal was #33 with 459 000 (266 000). The Project was #18 with 769 000 (297 000). Thank God You’re Here was #13 with 994 000 (551 000). The Oprah Special: The Presleys was #16 with 833 000 (319 000). A repeat of NCIS was #23 with 658 000 (113 000).

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 087 000 (644 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 855 000 (538 000). Question Everything was #17 with 824 000 (478 000). Planet America was #21 with 673 000 (391 000). Would I Lie to You? was #35 with 443 000 (205 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No.1 entertainment program with Total People and all key demographics. It also dominated its timeslot in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.947 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.030 million and a BVOD audience of 171,000. 
  • 9News was the No.1 program on Wednesday night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.904 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.150 million – up 11.0% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 94,000 was up 67.9% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demographics across Australia. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.569 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.037 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 86,000, up 56.4% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.246 million and a Total TV National Audience of 655,000, lifting the time slot by 50.2% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Human Error secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.365 million and a Total TV National Audience of 503,000. It registered a BVOD audience of 47,000.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program withTotal People in Melbourne and Brisbane and with People 16-39 across the 5 City Metro. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 765,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 311,000. Its BVOD audience was 33,000 – up 17.9% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 Network with Total People and all key demographics.

Seven reaches 5.39 million, 7NEWS #1 program, 7plus #1 in BVOD

  • Thank God You’re Here reached 1.2 million total viewers and was the #2 show in 16 to 39s.

Opening the door last night to the unknown were Lloyd Langford, Bron Lewis, Felicity Ward and Ivan Aristeguieta.

It was a night of riotously funny viewing, fearless host Celia Pacquola herding those cats and a seriously special guest Magda Szubanski scrutinising the silliness.

Thank God You’re Here:

  • 994,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Up 11% in 25 to 54s, 10% in under 50s and 3% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
  • #2 in its timeslot in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
