Seven News was #5 for the night with a reach loss of 20 000 and an average audience lead of 88 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 294 000 (791 000). The 1% Club UK was #9 with 1 290 000 (627 000). The Front Bar was #15 with 960 000 (466 000). Talking Footy was #29 with 561 000 (196 000). A repeat of Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera was #41 with 386 000 (119 000).

Nine

9News was #4 for the night. State of Origin Rugby League: NSW v QLD – Pre Match was #2 with 4 106 000 (1 873 000) across 9 and 9Gem. State of Origin Rugby League: NSW v QLD was #1 with 5 306 000 (3 436 000). State of Origin Rugby League: NSW v QLD – Post Match was #3 with 3 242 000 (1 135 000). A special, NRL All Stars – 1973 Anniversary Tour was #35 with 461 000 (259 000).

2024 Roland Garros – Day 11 – Night was #25 with 614 000 (87 000).

The Project was #14 with 965 000 (355 000). MasterChef Australia was #11 with 1 140 000 (531 000). NCIS: Sydney was #21 with 732 000 (252 000). FBI: International was #50 with 317 000 (123 000).

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #12 with 1 062 000 (593 000). Hard Quiz was #18 with 807 000 (583 000). Gruen was #16 with 857 000 (603 000). A repeat of QI was #28 with 597 000 (363 000). A second repeat episode of QI was #36 with 453 00 (294 000). Planet America was #43 with 370 000 (214 000).

  • State of Origin Game 1 recorded a BVOD audience of 760,000 on 9Now:
    • Highest rating program of all time on 9Now
    • Second highest rating live BVOD program of all time (across all broadcasters)
    • Up 42% year-on-year
  • State of Origin Game 1 was the No. 1 program of the night in:
    • Sydney – Total TV Audience of 934,000
    • Melbourne – Total TV Audience of 287,000
    • Brisbane – Total TV Audience of 809,000
  • State of Origin Game 1 was the No. 2 program of the night in:
    • Adelaide – Total TV Audience of 91,000
    • Perth – Total TV Audience of 135,000
  • 9News was the No.1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.245 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.299 million – up 7.6% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience of 128,000 was up 128.6% on the same night last year and was the highest rating BVOD figure of all-time for 9News*. The bulletins were more than 50,000 viewers ahead of their nearest competitors in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show across the 5 City Metro with a National Total TV Reach of 1.434 million and a Total TV National Audience of 726,000, lifting the timeslot by 47% when compared to the same day last year. It also won the timeslot in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (did not air in Perth yesterday)
  • Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 835,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 314,000. It was the No.1 breakfast program in Sydney and Melbourne. Its BVOD audience of 35,000 on 9Now was up 40% on the same morning last year
  • The 9Network was the No.1 across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People

MasterChef Australia Season 16 Serving Up Biggest Ever BVOD Audiences.

The losing team from the pub challenge cooked along with legendary chef Curtis Stone as he created his Spice Rubbed Pork, Smoked Beetroot and Hasselback Potatoes.

MasterChef Australia continues tonight, where one worthy contestant will land their creation on Coles shelves.

MasterChef Australia:

  • 1.14 million total national viewers reached.
  • #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #2 in its timeslot in all key demos.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (145,000), up 32% on 2023 average.

Also, Network 10 was up 6% week-on-week and Deal Or No Deal lifted its timeslot 26% year-on-year.

Last week (Wednesday, 29 May), MasterChef Australia reached 1.34 million total national viewers with 7-day viewing.

MasterChef Australia – Continues tonight at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
