TOTAL TV
Seven News at 6:30 was the #1 program overall with 1,426 000 viewers, a rise of 3%. Seven News also had an uplift of 3% to land at #2 with 1,405 000. Home and Away has moved to now win the 7pm slot, after being third in overnights with 929 000 viewers, an increase of 21%. Kitchen Nightmares can be called a winner landing at #6 for the night for a total audience of 934 000, up 25%. Code 1: Minute by Minute was watched by 448 000, up 7%. Out of primetime, The Chase Australia had 769 000 viewers, up 3%, whilst The Chase Australia – 5pm moved 4% to 491 000. Sunrise landed at #22 overall with 399 000 viewers, up 4% and Seven News at 4:30 rose 3% for 312 000.
Nine News 6:30 was #4 overall with 1,050 000, up 4%, whilst Nine News was #5 with 1,003 000, also up 3%. A Current Affair slipped to second in its slot but still land a strong 897 000, up 5%. A repeat of Travel Guides was #14 with 663 000, up 7%, landing it behind ABC and Seven in the slot. The 60 Minutes presentation of Show Me the Money: The Melissa Caddick Con was second in the slot behind the ABC with 617 000, up 14%. Hot Seat had 481 000, up 4%, whilst Hot Seat – 5pm was also up 4% to 306 000. Nine’s Afternoon News landed ahead of Seven News with 331 000 viewers, up 3%. Today was up 8% to 296 000.
Love Island Australia really shows the power of BVOD. The linear metro overnight ratings sat at just 30 000 for 9GO, but adding in Total TV, the show rose a mind blowing 598% to land in the Top 30 shows of the night with 321 000 viewers.
The Project 6:30pm was on 279 000, up 4%, but that total audience rose to 422 000, also up 4% for The Project 7pm. The Dog House Australia repeat was #21 for the night at 404 000, up 4%. Earlier, 10 News First was on 380 000, up 2%.
The ABC stole the night with some big figures. Fisk was the #3 program overall and #1 non news with 1,112 000 viewers, up an incredible 66%. ABC News was #9 for the night with 895 000, up4%. Hard Quiz was second in the slot behind Seven with 872 000, up 15%. 730 remains strong with 727 000, up 5% and Question Everything was up 10% for a final 7 day audience of 676 000. Would I Lie to You benefited from a strong lead in with 425 000 viewers, up 12%.

Analysis
Seven News was #1 overall with 777 000 viewers and wins in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. They missed out on winning Melbourne by just 1000 viewers. Seven News 6:30 was #2 with 772 000 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Home and Away was #7 for the night, but #3 in its slot with 458 000 viewers. A repeat of Hey Hey It’s 50 Years was watched by 343 000 viewers, but that was enough for it to land #2 in the slot behind the ABC. Air Crash Investigations was on 147 000 viewers and The Latest: Seven News had 114 000 late night.
Nine News was #3 for the night with wins in Sydney and Melbourne. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with 680 000 viewers and a win in Sydney. A Current Affair was #6 overall but #2 in its slot with 507 000 viewers. A last minute change had RBT on 284 000, but the episode did not screen in Perth. Paramedics was on 268 000, but again no screening in Perth. A+E After Dark had 166 000 viewers with no Perth. WA will see these three shows tonight on the main channel. Nine News Late was on 117 000.
The Project 6:30 was watched by 174 000, but that figure rose to 274 000 at 7pm. A repeat of The Dog House Australia was on 294 000. The Real Love Boat had a disappointing 130 000 viewers, but with the season finale next week, there is little chance of 10 pulling the show from the schedule as they did in the US. My Life is Murder suffered as well at just 68 000 viewers.
ABC News won its slot with 512 000. 730 was on 423 000 to land at #11. Hard Quiz was at 451 000, enough for the show and 730 to win that hour of programming. Question Everything was 387 000, but the big winner was Fisk, screening at 9pm and #10 for the night with 430 000. Would I Lie to You was on 240 000.
