The Bachelors Australia was #1 overall with 314 000 viewers and rose by 75%. Home and Away placed #2 with 300 000 and an upswing of 61%. Although some commentators write off The Project when looking at total people figures, it consistently does well, night after night in 25-54, with last Wednesday sitting at #9 with 145 000 viewers, an increase of 7%. My favourite new show, Fire Country was #24 with 77 000 viewers – growing its audience by 24%.

Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Melbourne Stars v Sydney Thunder was #12 with 273 000 viewers. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Melbourne Stars v Sydney Thunder Post Game had 108 000.

Nine News was #3 with no wins in any market. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with no wins again in any market. The 2023 Australian Open Day 10 – Night was #6 with 475 000. Other results from the Open included:

The Project 6:30pm had an audience of 140 000. The Project 7pm built on that audience to 209 000. Both halves though were significantly down on the previous night. The Bachelors Australia was #11 with 280 000. Fire Country had 91 000 viewers when it finally got to air around 9:25pm. A repeat of Bull had 61 000.
ABC
ABC News was #5 for the night, but #1 in its slot. There was no episode of 730 last night with the ABC instead airing the Australian of the Year 2023 presentation from 7:30pm to 282 000 viewers and landing at #10. Repeats of Spicks and Specks was #19 with 193 000 and Utopia was #21 with 175 000 viewers.

Perth had the entire match on 7mate. A repeat episode of Highway Patrol and then two repeats of Highway Cops also kept the channel competitive.
