Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 87 000 and an average audience lead of 13 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 354 000 (886 000). The 1% Club UK was #5 with 1 473 000 (841 000). The Front Bar was #11 with 1 153 000 (588 000). Unfiltered was #22 with 620 000 (257 000).

The Chase UK – 356 000 (198 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 724 000 (1 107 000). The Block was #3 with 1 926 000 (1 061 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #12 with 1 121 000 (457 000).

Tipping Point UK – 644 000 (351 000)

Deal or No Deal was #30 with 471 000 (244 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #25 with 546 000 (243 000). Elsbeth was on 408 000 (194 000).

ABC

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 215 000 (774 000). Hard Quiz was #13 with 979 000 (664 000). Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee was #15 with 909 000 (447 000). An encore of Austin was on 26 with 501 000 (194 000). Would I Lie to You was on 286 000 (148 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.926 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.061 million . It recorded a BVOD Audience of 171,000.
  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.090 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.322 million. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 137,000.
  • A Current Affair was a timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.724 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.107 million. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 113,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and in all five metro city capitals with Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.472 million and a Total TV National Audience of 795,000. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD Audience of 78,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne. It also won with People 25-54 and 16-39 across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 765,000, a Total TV National Audience of 313,000. On 9Now its BVOD audience was 45,000.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.

Seven reaches 5.37 million on Wednesday, BVOD grows

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 40.2%
  • National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 40.7%
  • 7plus: up 31.1% year-on-year
  • 7NEWS: #1 in total TV. reaches 2.0 million
  • The 1% Club UK: reaches 1.47 million
  • Home and Away: reaches 1.35 million
  • The Chase Australia: reaches 1.28 million
  • Sunrise: #1 at breakfast, 31% more viewers than Today
