Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 150 000 and an average audience lead of 149 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 284 000 (829 000). A repeat of The 1% Club UK was #6 with 1 423 000 (789 000). The special, Lawrence Mooney: Embracing Your Limitations was #13 with 953 000 (227 000). A repeat of Australia: Now and Then was #36 with 402 000 (125 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 525 000 (1 008 000). The Block was #1 with 2 034 000 (1 118 000). Listing Melbourne was #5 with 1 429 000 (317 000). Britain’s Most Expensive Houses was #34 with 430 000 (125 000).

Love Island Australia (9GO) – 319 000 (152 000) + 100 000 on BVOD

Deal or No Deal was #35 with 419 000 (224 000). The Project was #23 with 628 000 (269 000). Shark Tank was #18 with 662 000 (266 000). NCIS was #26 with 556 000 (262 000). NCIS: Origins was #39 with 350 000 (173 000).

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 159 000 (688 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 843 000 (546 000). Question Everything was #14 with 862 000 (483 000). An encore of Fisk was #20 with 653 000 (345 000). Planet America was #19 with 659 000 (397 000). An encore of Spicks and Specks was #44 with 327 000 (149 000).

SBS

History’s Greatest Mysteries was #30 with 505 000 (182 000).Portillo’s Andalucia was #40 with 347 000 (165 000). A repeat of Silverado was #41 with 345 000 (73 000).

  • The Block continues to dominate as the No. 1 entertainment program of the night with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It was also the No. 1 program of the night with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia.  It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.034 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.118 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience was 187,000.
  • Listing Melbourne won its timeslot in Melbourne with People 25-54. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.429 million, a Total TV National Audience of 317,000 and a BVOD audience of 41,000.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news service of the night with Total People in Melbourne and the #1 program of the night in Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.785 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.059 million – up 5.1% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 89,000 was up a massive 60.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demographics across Australia. It secured a National total TV Reach of 1.525 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.008 million – up 7.8%. On 9Now, its BVOD audience was 81,000, up 58.8% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People, winning in all five metro markets. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.141 million and a Total TV National Audience of 603,000, lifting the timeslot by 42.7% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Love Island recorded a BVOD audience of 100,000 on 9Now – up 40.8% year-on-year. 
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 780,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 323,000. Its BVOD audience was 37,000 – up 32.1% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 Network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform with Total People and all key demographics.

·       National total TV audience share: 38.7%

·       7plus: #1 in VOD, up 30% year-on-year

·       7NEWS: #1 program in total TV, reaches 1.94 million
