- The 9Network claimed Australia’s Top 4 programs on Wednesday night by reach with People 25-54, as Married at First Sight, Big Miracles, 9News and A Current Affair top the key demographic.
- Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.865 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.803 million (more than one million viewers ahead of its nearest competitor) – up 16.3% year-on-year.
- Married at First Sight registered a BVOD audience of 525,000 – up 43.8% on the corresponding episode last year. Last night’s episode of MAFS recorded the highest ever overnight BVOD Audience in the series history. This episode is the highest rating non-sporting overnight BVOD audience across CFTA in VOZ history.
- 9News was the No. 1 news service with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with key demographics People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.909 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.162 million – up 13.5% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 110,000 was up 52.8% year-on-year.
- A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.733 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.086 million – up 6.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 122,000 – up 40.2% on the same night last year.
- Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.376 million, a Total TV National Audience of 719,000 (lifting the timeslot by 23.5% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 57,000 – 72.7% year-on-year.
- Big Miracles won its timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.872 million, a Total TV National Audience of 609,000 – up 26.6% year-on-year and a BVOD Audience of 107,000 – up 69.8% on the corresponding episode last year. Last night’s episode of Big Miracles recorded the highest ever overnight audience in the series history across Total TV, Broadcast TV & BVOD.
- Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Audience of 322,000 and a BVOD audience of 41,000 – up 24.2% on the same morning last year.
- The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
- 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia recording shares in excess of 58% with Total People and all key demos.
