Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 33 000 and an average audience lead of 12 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 438 000 (889 000). The 1% Club UK was #5 with 1 574 000 (876 000). The Front Bar was #11 with 1 279 000 (648 000). Unfiltered was #18 with 675 000 (283 000). A repeat of Armed and Dangerous was #43 with 332 000 (110 000). Border Security: International was #120 with 135 000 (92 000).

The Chase UK – 379 000 (177 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 732 000 (1 083 000). The Block – Wednesday was #4 with 1 722 000 (1 029 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #13 with 1 059 000 (452 000). The Grand Tour was #33 with 417 000 (153 000). 9News Late was #84 with 192 000 (106 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #63 with 245 000 (84 000). A repeat of Damian Lewis: Spy Wars aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #181 with 89 000 (37 000).

10 News+ was #32 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #36 with 389 000 (240 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #26 with 488 000 (217 000). The season final of Elsbeth was #28 with 474 000 (191 000). A repeat of Elsbeth was #57 with 263 000 (111 000). 10’s Late News was #90 with 178 000 (97 000).

ABC

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 294 000 (785 000). Hard Quiz was #8 with 1 355 000 (524 000). Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction was #15 with 814 000 (437 000). An encore of Austin was #27 with 477 000 (164 000). Would I Lie to You was #55 with 280 000 (159 000). ABC Late News was #65 with 240 000 (62 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.722 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.029 million – up 13.5% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 171,000 – up 17.7% year-on-year.
  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 news program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also the No.1 news program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.The combined bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.045 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.339 million – up 5.3% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 137,00 was up 35.6% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with all key demos and Total People, winning the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.732 million and an impressive Total TV National Audience of 1.083 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 110,000 – up 27.9% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demos.It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.445 million, a Total TV National Audience of 787,000 (up 13.4% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 80,000 – up a massive 48.1% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane on Wednesday. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 758,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 294,000 and a BVOD audience of 45,000 – up 12.5% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with People 25-54 and People 16-39.
