Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 43 000 and an average audience loss of 25 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 282 000 (867 000). The 1% Club UK was #7 with 1 515 000 (843 000). The Front Bar was #11 with 1 270 000 (636 000). Unfiltered was #19 with 741 000 (276 000). Surviellence Oz: Dashcam was #81 with 210 000 (91 000). Chicago Fire was #129 with 127 000 (49 000).

The Chase UK – 439 000 (214 000)

Sunrise – Early – 520 000 (269 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 731 000 (1 143 000). The Block was #3 with 2 054 000 (1 165 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #5 with 1 554 000 (516 000). The Grand Tour aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #37 with 381 000 (124 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #44 with 336 000 (107 000). 9News Late was #72 with 230 000 (141 000). A repeat of Damian Lewis: Spy Wars was #84 with 198 000 (66 000).

Tipping Point UK – 579 000 (332 000)

10 News+ was #33 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #28 with 537 000 (311 000). The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity – Wednesday was #13 with 971 000 (545 000). The Gilded Age was #21 with 672 000 (187 000). A repeat of Elsbeth was #73 with 228 000 (78 000). 10’s Late News was #136 with 119 000 (57 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 321 000 (850 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 939 000 (636 000). Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction was #16 with 851 000 (431 000). Would I Lie to You was #30 with 496 000 (281 000). An encore of Austin was #52 with 304 000 (137 000). ABC News Late was #80 with 212 000 (54 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in all five metro capitals with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.054 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.165 million – up 14.8% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 260,000 – up 70.2% year-on-year.
  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 program with Total People on Wednesday, winning the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.125 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.382 million – up 19.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 185,000 was up 90.7% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with all key demos and Total People, winning the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.731 million and an impressive Total TV National Audience of 1.143 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 156,000 – up 90.2% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.515 million, a Total TV National Audience of 816,000 (up 31.2% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 107,000 – up a massive 122.9% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane on Wednesday. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 768,000, a Total TV National Audience of 322,000 and a BVOD audience of 52,000 – up 48.6% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics

SEVEN

Seven’s winning Wednesday – 7plus #1 in BVOD

  • Seven #1 nationally in total TV
  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 41.5%
  • National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 41.1%
