Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 247 000 and an average audience lead of 182 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 205 000 (835 000). Dream Home was #7 with 1 308 000 (535 000). The Good Doctor was #23 with 656 000 (321 000). Ambulance: Code Red was #26 with 493 000 (184 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 540 000 (999 000). The Summit – Finale was #3 with 1 650 000 (665 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #13 with 1 121 000 (396 000). Outback Opal Hunters was #28 with 586 000 (212 000)

2024 Roland Garros – Day 10 – Night was #25 with 650 000 (142 000).

The Project was #15 with 920 000 (380 000). MasterChef Australia was #8 with 1 250 000 638 000). The Cheap Seats was #11 with 1 194 000 (540 000). The season final of NCIS was #35 with 496 000 (214 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #12 with 1 135 000 (616 000). Tony Armstrong’s Extra-Ordinary Things was #17 with 814 000 (396 000). Secret Science was #38 with 441 000 (259 000).

  • The finale of The Summit dominated its timeslot across Australia with People 25-54 and Total People. It soared to its highest rating episode of the series with a Total TV National Audience of 665,000, including a BVOD audience of 71,000.
  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 as well as being the No. 1 program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.916 million and a Total TV National Average Audience of 1.211 million – up 2.5% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD Average Audience of 92,000 was up 61.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair was Australia’s highest rating program at 7.00pm with Total People and People 25-54. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.540 million and a Total TV National Average Audience of 999,000. Its BVOD audience was 72,000 – up 41.2% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.409 million and a Total TV National Audience of 760,000, lifting the timeslot by 46.4% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 835,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 344,000 – up 3.3% on the same morning last year. It registered a BVOD audience of 35,000 – up 34.6% on the same morning last year.

The 9Network was No. 1 on Tuesday across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.

Seven reaches 5.5 million, #1 on Tuesday

The Cheap Seats Achieves Its Biggest Audience Of The Year!

The Cheap Seats continues to break news (jokes) and records after 8.30pm, with last night’s episode achieving its biggest ever overnight audience ever. Last night, Jimmy Barnes told Mel and Tim his secret to keeping his voice in pitch perfect condition on The Cheap Seats and was also joined by Tara Rushton and Mel Tracina.

MasterChef Australia contestants faced off in a team service challenge where they were tasked with elevating traditional pub food.

MasterChef Australia:

  • 1.25 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 12% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
  • #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 in its timeslot in 16 to 39s.
  • 31.3% commercial share in 16 to 39s.
  • 36,000 live stream viewers, up 23% on the same episode last year.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (146,000), up 33% on 2023 average.

  • 1.19 million total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest overnight audience of the season.

  • Winning commercial shares with 40.3% in 16 to 39s and 33.5% in 25 to 54s.
  • Live stream viewers up 22% on the same episode last year.
  • Season to-date: Achieving itsbiggest total audience average, up 4% on 2023 average.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (43,000), up 34% on 2023 average.

Network 10 and 10 grew week-on-week:

  • Network 10 & 10: #2 network and channel in 16 to 39s and 25 to 54s.

Last week, with 7 day viewing, MasterChef Australia reached 1.47 million total national viewers and was the #1 show in 16 to 39s. The Cheap Seats reached 1.37 million total national viewers.
