Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 129 000 and an average audience lead of 143 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 364 (877 000). Australian Idol – Tuesday was #6 with 1 738 000 (764 000). The Hunting Party was #15 with 851 000 (309 000). The Irrational was #45 with 358 000 (137 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 837 000 (1 158 000). Married at First Sight was #1 with 2 707 000 (1 674 000). Madam was #4 with 1 933 000 (776 000). 9News Late was #19 with 717 000 (373 000). My Feet Are Killing Me was #41 with 421 000 (143 000).

Deal or No Deal was #34 with 472 000 (246 000). The Project was #18 with 742 000 (296 000). I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here was #12 with 1 119 000 (531 000). The Ex Wife was #31 with 554 000 (135 000).

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 216 000 (698 000). Dr Karl’s How Things Work was #16 with 794 000 (565 000). Eat the Invaders was #28 with 584 000 (389 000). A repeat of Hippo Watch with Steve Backshall was #36 with 454 000 (238 000). A repeat of Ningaloo Nyinggulu was #50 with 321 000 (123 000).

SBS

A repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? was #39 with 438 000 (160 000). Irresistible: Why We Can’t Stop Eating was #30 with 572 000 (178 000).

  • Married at First Sight was Australia’s No. 1 program with Total People and all key demos. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.704 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.674 million – up 17.7% year-on-year.
  • Married at First Sight registered a BVOD audience of 462,000 – up 43.8% on the corresponding episode last year. 
  • Madam premiered as a dominant timeslot winner with Total People across Australia. The launch episode secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.933 million and a Total TV National Audience of 776,000. On 9Now it achieved a BVOD Audience of 98,000.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin of the night with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.039 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.227 million – up 8.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 114,000 was up a huge 52.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.837 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.158 million – up 11.4% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 122,000 – up 43.5% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.320 million and a Total TV National Audience of 679,000, lifting the timeslot by 19.8% year-on-year. 
  • Today recorded a National Total TV Audience of 347,000 and a BVOD audience of 39,000 – up 18.2% on the same morning last year. It was the No. 1 breakfast program in Melbourne and Brisbane. 
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform, recording shares in excess of 57% with Total People and all key demos.
