Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience lead of 37 000 and an average audience lead of 87 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 397 000 (953 000). Australian Idol – Tuesday was #5 with 1 709 000 (861 000). Doc was #14 with 875 000 (362 000). A second episode of Doc was #39 with 398 000 (233 000).

Sunrise – Early – 483 000 (228 000)

The Chase UK – 419 000 (214 000)

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 871 000 (1 117 000). Married at First Sight – Tuesday was #1 with 2 770 000 (1 639 000). Beyond the Dream: Ice Breakers – Chasing Olympic Gold was #6 with 1 456 000 (480 000). 9News Late was #34 with 444 000 (240 000). The Equalizer was #43 with 350 000 (123 000).

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 211 000 (734 000). Dr Karl’s How Things Work was #16 with 714 000 (486 000). Human was #17 with 713 000 (353 000).

  • Married at First Sight was Australia’s No. 1 program with Total People and all key demos. It was also the No. 1 program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in all five metro capitals. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.770 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.639 million – up 10.4% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 565,000 – up an impressive 78.8% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.084 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.293 million (up 5.4% on the same night last year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 194,000 was up 70.2% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.871 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.117 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 194,000 – up 59.0% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.375 million and a Total TV National Audience of 717,000 (up 5.8% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 99,000 lifting the timeslot by 73.7% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Beyond the Dream: Ice Breakers Chasing Olympic Gold achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.457 million and a Total TV National Audience of 480,000 and a BVOD Audience of 111,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 820,000 and a BVOD audience of 57,000 – up 46.2% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Tuesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Tuesday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
