Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 43 000 and an average audience lead of 78 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 1 135 000 (780 000). Home and Away – episode 2 was #13 with 995 000 (677 000). The 1% Club UK was #9 with 1 211 000 (618 000). The Hunting Party was #17 with 744 000 (249 000). The Irrational was on 309 000 (133 000). A second episode of The Irrational was on 150 000 (74 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 868 000 (1 180 000). Married at First Sight – Tuesday was #1 with 2 799 000 (1 791 000). Madam was #5 with 1 508 000 (490 000). 9News Late was #31 with 511 000 (266 000). My Feet Are Killing Me was on 332 000 (136 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 149 000 (67 000).

Deal or No Deal was #34 with 479 000 (248 000). The Project was #15 with 814 000 (309 000). Australian Survivor – Tuesday was #12 with 1 025 000 (525 000). NCIS was #22 with 661 000 (228 000). A repeat of NCIS was on 661 000 (228 000). 10’s Late News was on 242 000 (124 000).

ABC

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 284 000 (787 000). Foreign Correspondent was #19 with 676 000 (427 000). The Role of a Lifetime was #27 with 558 000 (237 000). A repeat of Queerstralia was #40 with 394 000 (134 000). A repeat of ABC Of… was on 155 000 (76 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 282 000 (173 000). SBS World News 7pm was #48 with 339 000 (138 000). A repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? was #44 with 364 000 (170 000). Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive was #29 with 543 000 (89 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night across Australia and in all five metro capitals with all key demos and Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.812 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.747 million – up 26.3% year-on-year. Last night’s episode of MAFS recorded the highest ever overnight BVOD Audience for a Tuesday in the series history. It achieved a BVOD audience of 488,000 – up 61.1% year-on-year.
     
  • 9News won its timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.053 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.251 million (up 22.9% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 114,000 was up 52.0% on the same night last year.
     
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with all key demos and Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.779 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.087 million – up 4.1% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 123,000 – up 43.0% year-on-year.
     
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.380 million and a Total TV National Audience of 720,000, up by 14.1% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 59,000 – up 55.3% year-on-year.
     
  • Madam achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.484 million, a Total TV National Audience of 478,000 and a BVOD Audience of 73,000.
     
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 786,000 and a BVOD audience of 41,000 – up 28.1% on the same morning last year.
     
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Tuesday with all key demos and Total People

Australian Survivor continues to grow its BVOD audience with its biggest numbers yet, and 10’s timeslot audience year-on-year. Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn II is consistently popular among younger viewers, ranking second in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn II:

• Reached 1.03 million total viewers.
• Season to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever.
• Season to-date: Reaching 3.6 million total national viewers.
• Season to-date: Lifting 10’s timeslot 9% year-on-year.
