Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 50 000 and an average audience lead of 37 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 156 000 (845 000). A second episode of Home and Away was #13 with 946 000 (780 000). A third episode of Home and Away was #15 with 876 000 (737 000). Stranded on Honeymoon Island was #19 with 753 000 (240 000). A second episode of Stranded on Honeymoon Island was on 311 000 (122 000). The Agenda Setters was on 185 000 (88 000).

The Chase UK – 415 000 (206 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 637 000 (1 113 000). Paramedics was #6 with 1 344 000 (669 000). Murder Down Under was #11 with 1 063 000 (541 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #46 with 377 000 (160 000). Ski Rescue Down Under aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 306 000 (113 000). 9News Late was on 287 000 (178 000).

Tipping Point UK – 565 000 (318 000)

10 News+ was #35 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #26 with 567 000 (283 000). MasterChef Australia – Tuesday was #8 with 1 177 000 (689 000). The Cheap Seats was #12 with 966 000 (502 000). FBI: Most Wanted was #25 with 594 000 (195 000). 10’s Late News was on 217 000 (116 000).

ABC

ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 162 000 (748 000). Foreign Correspondent was #16 with 796 000 (537 000). Dr Ann’s Secret Lives was #29 with 560 000 (356 000). A repeat of Dr Karl’s How Things Work was #41 with 408 000 (230 000). A repeat of Earth was #40 with 410 000 (169 000). ABC Late News was on 74 000 (58 000).

Antiques Roadshow – 507 000 (230 000)

  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro with Total People. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.209 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.417 million – increasing 9.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 141,000 was up 36.9% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demographics. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.637 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.113 million – up 19.5% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 104,000 – up 40.5% year-on-year.
  • Paramedics claimed a National Total TV Reach of 1.344 million and a Total TV National Audience of 669,000. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 71,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demographics. It was also the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.622 million and a Total TV National Audience of 857,000, up 18.4% year-on-year. On 9Now its BVOD Audience of 84,000 was up an impressive 52.7% on the same night last year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 789,000, a Total TV National Audience of 318,000. On 9Now its BVOD audience of 45,000 increased by 18.4% on the same morning last year. 
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Tuesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Tuesday with People 16-39

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 39.0%

       MasterChef Australia: Back To Win: The four winners from the Everything Mystery Box battled it out in an elite service challenge at Vue de monde, with chef Hugh Allen running their service. Despite three of the four receiving rave reviews, it was the dish that not only used Hugh’s ingredient in the most creative way but would also happily sit on the menu at Vue de monde that took the win with Callum the first through to the Top 5!   Reached 1.18 million total national viewers. Biggest Tuesday total audience of the season! #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. #1 in its timeslot. Strong timeslot shares: 38.4% in 16 to 39s and 31.1% in 25 to 54s. Season-to-date: Reaching 10.1 million total national viewers. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Tuesday, 15 July): Reached 1.3 million total national viewers. #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39.   The Cheap Seats: Hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald took a fun look at the week that was from The Cheap Seats last night. Joining in on the laughs were Cultural Correspondent Mel Tracina, comedian Pete Helliar and Kiwi comic Lana Walters.   Reached 966,000 total national viewers. Biggest streaming audience of the season up 14% on the average. #1 in its timeslot. Incredible timeslot shares: 42.9% share 16 to 39s, 38.3% share in 25 to 54s. Season-to-date: Reaching 5.7 million total national viewers. National total audience, up 8% vs. 2024. Biggest ever streaming audience, up 17% vs. 2024. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Tuesday, 15 July): Reached 1.06 million total national viewers.
