Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 52 000 and an average audience lead of 98 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 282 000 (866 000). Australian Idol – Tuesday was #6 with 1 533 000 (759 000). The Hunting Party was #16 with 765 000 (269 000).

The Irrational – 297 000 (137 000)

The Irrational – episode 2 – 144 000 (66 000)

Seven National News at Noon – 381 000 (173 000)

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 860 000 (1 094 000). Married at First Sight was #1 with 2 624 000 (1 673 000). Madam was #5 with 1 562 000 (589 000). 9News Late was #30 with 527 000 (274 000). My Feet Are Killing Me was #45 with 370 000 (145 000).

The Equalizer (R) – 161 000 (78 000)

Deal or No Deal was #34 with 472 000 (268 000). The Project was #18 with 728 000 (308 000). I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was #12 with 1 063 000 (512 000). NCIS was #22 with 677 000 (213 000).

The Ex Wife – 215 000 (68 000)

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 286 000 (781 000). Dr Karl’s How Things Work was #15 with 801 000 (590 000). Eat the Invaders was #25 with 587 000 (421 000). A repeat of Hippo Watch with Steve Backshall was #28 with 554 000 (260 000). A repeat of Ningaloo Nyinggulu was #44 with 373 000 (125 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 287 000 (190 000). SBS World News 7pm was on 285 000 (143 000). Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields was #29 with 527 000 (159 000).

  • Married at First Sight was Australia’s No. 1 program in all markets with Total People and all key demos. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.624 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.673 million – up 27.8% year-on-year.
     
  • Married at First Sight registered a BVOD audience of 459,000 – up 53.5% on the corresponding episode last year.
     
  • Madam was a dominant timeslot winner with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.562 million and a Total TV National Audience of 589,000. On 9Now, it achieved a BVOD Audience of 82,000.
     
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin of the night with Total People across the 5 City and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.018 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.235 million – up 17.1% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 110,000 was up a huge 48.6% year-on-year.
     
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.860 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.094 million – up 12.7% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 117,000 – up 46.3% on the same night last year.
     
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.365 million and a Total TV National Audience of 699,000, up by 27.8% year-on-year.
     
  • Today recorded a National Total TV Audience of 327,000 and a BVOD audience of 40,000 on the same morning last year. It was the No. 1 breakfast program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
     
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform, recording shares in excess of 56% with Total People and all key demos.

There’ll be fewer LOLs in the jungle with Dave Hughes being the latest celeb to say his goodbyes to camp. Hughesy brought the gags last night when he ate meat for the first time in 15 years, hoovering down lamb tongue and boar penis in the stomach-flipping Grilling Me Softly tucker trial. Last night, campmates were treated to Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain and Coco Pops cereal for guessing which social media comment belonged to which campmate.
