Seven News was #1 with wins in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6.30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Home and Away was #16 with 307 000. Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football aired on the main channel in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide to an audience of 226 000. There were market variations with a repeat Highway Patrol and Britain’s Got Talent airing across 7 and 7mate.

Nine

Nine News was #3 with a win in Sydney. Nine News 6.30 was #5 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. A Current Affair was #6 overall, but #1 in its slot with 566 000. The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test – England v Australia – Session 1 – Day 2 was #4 with 732 000. The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test – England v Australia – Lunch – Day 2 was #9 with 466 000. The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test – England v Australia – Session 2 – Day 2 was #12 with 389 000.

The Project 6.30pm was #31 with 183 000. The Project 7pm was #18 with 272 000. MasterChef Australia – Thursday was #13 with 380 000. The First Inventors was on 126 000. An encore of The Cheap Seats was on 87 000. A late night repeat of Law and Order: SVU was on 48 000.
