Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 333 000 and an average audience lead of 268 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 1 061 000 (755 000). Home and Away – Late was #12 with 1 003 000 (690 000). The Front Bar was #10 with 1 073 000 (424 000). The Latest: Seven News was #26 with 598 000 (310 000). A repeat of Australia: Now and Then had an average audience of 151 000. A repeat of Born to Kill was on 96 000.

9News was #2 for the night. RBT was #3 with 1 508 000 (703 000). A new episode of Emergency was #6 with 1 191 000 (531 000). A repeat of RPA was #18 with 785 000 (406 000). 9News Late – Thursday had an average audience of 250 000. Chicago Med aired a new episode to 106 000.

The Project was #22 with 700 000 (314 000). The Dog House Australia was #15 with 955 000 (422 000). Gogglebox returned for 2024 and was #14 with 981 000 (538 000). A repeat of Law & Order: SVU had an average audience of 179 000. A repeat of Blue Bloods was on 92 000.
ABC
ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 090 000 (669 000). Grand Designs Transformations was #13 with 997 000 (562 000). Martin Clunes: Islands of America was #25 with 638 000 (376 000). A repeat of Fake or Fortune had an average audience of 183 000.

- 9News recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.681 million and was the No. 1 news service, as well as the No. 1 program, with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. It was also the No. 1 program across the 5 City with People 25-54
- A Current Affair was Australia’s No. 1 program at 7.00pm with a National Total TV Reach of 1.348 million and a Total TV National Audience of 885,000, including a BVOD audience of 53,000 on 9Now – up 50.5% the same night last year.
- RBT secured a Total TV National Audience of 703,000. Its BVOD audience was 37,000 – up 44.9% year-on-year.
- Tipping Point won the afternoon game show battle in Sydney and Melbourne. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.093 million and a Total TV National Audience of 558,000. Yesterday’s national audience lifted the timeslot by 40% when compared to the corresponding day last year. In Melbourne, the audience uplift was 51.5% year-on-year and in Adelaide it was a massive 65.1%.
- Today achieved a National Total TV Reach of 830,000 and was the No. 1 breakfast program in Brisbane and Melbourne, where it was 22,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
- The 9Network was No. 1 across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54.
9Now was Australia’s No.1 CFTA BVOD service with People 25-54 (51.3%), 16-39 (54.54%), GS 18+ (48.47%) and Total People (48.47%).

Gogglebox Returns To #1 In Its timeslot!

Last night saw strong lifts across Network 10 including the premiere of Gogglebox Australia that welcomed a new household to Australia’s favourite couch critics.
Gogglebox reached 981,000 total national viewers (metro + regional + BVOD).
- #1 in its timeslot.
- Impressive commercial shares of 39.2% in 16 to 39s, 38.6% in under 50s and 35.2% in 25 to 54s.
- Lifted 10’s timeslot 10% week-on-week.
- Lifted 10’s timeslot 26% in 16 to 39s, 14% in under 50s and 2% in 25 to 54s week-on-week.
- Up 18% in live stream viewers on the same episode last year.
The Dog House Australia, Ep 4reached 955,000 total national viewers.
- It was the biggest audience of the season!
- Up 10% week-on-week.
- Up 26% in 16 to 39s week-on-week, 14% in under 50s and 2% in 25 to 54s.
- Up 49% in live stream viewers compared to the same episode last year.
There were strong week-on-week lifts across the board with:
- 10 News First up 13%
- Deal or No Deal up 3%
- The Project up 14%
In primetime, Network 10 (10 Bold,10 Peach, Nickelodeon, 10) and 10 were the #2 network and channel in under 50s and #2 network in 16 to 39s.
Week-on-week Network 10 was up 27% and 10 was up 53% week-on-week.
