The special, Abused by My Mum: The Ruby Franke Scandal was #9 with 1 147 000 (450 000). A repeat of Ron Iddles: The Good Cop was #24 with 567 000 (228 000).

Grace (7two) – 385 000 (160 000)

Air Crash Investigations (R) – 242 000 (108 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 410 000 (970 000). Thursday Night NRLW was #10 with 1 103 000 (234 000) across 9 and 9Gem. A repeat of RBT was #26 with 555 000 (241 000). An encore of 30 Years of The Footy Show was #23 with 567 000 (228 000).

9News Late – 266 000 (137 000)

The Project was #14 with 767 000 (350 000). Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia was #11 with 956 000 (414 000). Gogglebox was #12 with 944 000 (535 000). An encore of The Cheap Seats was #27 with 553 000 (193 000).

ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 153 000 (699 000). Foreign Correspondent was #17 with 740 000 (511 000). An encore of Return to Paradise was #21 with 624 000 (229 000). George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces was #46 with 323 000 (138 000).

SBS World News was on 297 000 (197 000). Great Australian Walks was #36 with 413 000 (197 000). Junior Doctors Down Under was #39 with 387 000 (141 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.848 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.134 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 91,000 was up 71.7% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia, the 5 City Metro and and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People . It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.410 million and a Total TV National Audience of 970,000. It recorded a BVOD audience of 72,000 – up 62.2% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show at 5.00pm across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.226 million and a Total TV National Audience of 647,000, lifting the timeslot by 52.5% when compared to the same day last year.
  • NRL Women’s Premiership achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.103 million, a Total TV National Audience of 234,000 and a BVOD audience of 21,000.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 752,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 311,000. Its BVOD audience was 35,000 – up 31.5% on the same morning last year.  
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Thursday with key demos People 25-54 and People 16-39

Biggest Male Audiences Of The Season!

Last night was a cracking Dogglebox combo with Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly and Gogglebox Australia featuring a cheeky crossover for Bane, the British bulldog, a regular on the couch with Matty, Malik and Jad, getting his bad behaviour addressed by the Dog Father, Graeme Hall. It was a winning combo for blokes last night seeing the biggest male audiences of the season for both shows.

Gogglebox:

  • 944,000 million total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest male audience of the season!
  • #2 entertainment show in 25 to 54s.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot audience 166% week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 107% in 25 to 54s and 84% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 159% year-on-year.
  • #1 in its timeslot.
  • Huge shares: 36.6% in 16 to 39s and 32.2% in 25 to 54s.

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly:

  • 956,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest male audience of the season!
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 112% week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 60% in 25 to 54s and 29% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
