Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 183 000 and an average audience lead of 179 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 057 000 (743 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Pre Game was #27 with 580 000 (262 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football was #2 with 1 894 000 (706 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football -Post Game was #35 with 428 000 (247 000). Kick Ons was on 243 000 (136 000). A repeat of The Chernobyl Disaster was on 211 000 (77 000).

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly – 720 000 (322 000)

Britain’s Got Talent – 515 000 (204 000)

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #6 with 1 209 000 (750 000). Restoration Australia was #14 with 862 000 (467 000). A repeat of Grand Designs Australia was #24 with 634 000 (245 000). A repeat of Grand Designs Revisited was on 320 000 (142 000). A repeat of A Bite to Eat with Alice was on 210 000 (57 000). ABC Late News was on 214 000 (56 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It was also the preferred news bulletin in Adelaide and Perth, with People 16-39. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.859 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.113 million – up 3.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 104,000 was up 30.0% year-on-year. 
  • NRL Thursday Night Footy dominated its timeslot with Total People and all key demographics in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.383 million and a Total TV National Audience of 575,000. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 82,000. 
  • A Current Affair won its timeslot with Total People and all key demographics in Sydney. It also dominated its timeslot in Perth with People 25-54 and 16-39. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.047 million and a Total TV National Audience of 702,000 – up 6.2% year-on-year. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD audience of 60,000 – up 20.0% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.282 million, a Total TV National Audience of 698,00 – up 10.3% year-on-year, and a BVOD audience of 59,000 – up 47.5% year-on-year. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Melbourne with Total People and all key demographics. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 870,000, a Total TV National Audience of 320,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 30.3% on the same morning last year. 
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday across Australia with People 25-54 and People 16-39.
