Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 25 000 and an average audience lead of 55 000 over 9News. A repeat of The Force: Behind the Line was #7 with 1 078 000 (247 000). Highway Patrol was #12 with 969 000 (663 000). A second new episode of Highway Patrol was #14 with 947 000 (632 000). The Front Bar was #13 with 960 000 (427 000). The Test: Feature Length Special was #22 with 644 000 (207 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 program of the night with People 25 to 54, GS18+ and Total People across the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.744 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.074 million – up 14.8% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 84,000 was up an impressive 73.9% year-on-year.
  • Love Island recorded a National Total TV Reach of 350,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 220,000 million up 11.8% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience was 186,000 – up 23.2% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.132 million and a Total TV National Audience of 639,000, lifting the timeslot by 57.0% when compared to the same day last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.397 million and a Total TV National Audience of 949,000 up 10.2% on the same night last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 67,000 up 55.9% year-on-year.
  • RPA secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.385 million, a Total TV National Audience of 583,000 and a BVOD audience of 41,000.
  • Emergency secured its timeslot across the 5 City Metro and in Brisbane with Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.063 million and a Total TV National Audience of 547,000. On 9Now, its BVOD audience was 31,000, up 30.5% year-on-year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 785,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 340,000. Its BVOD audience was 36,000, up 28.1% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network across the 5 City Metro on Thursday with People 16 to 39, GS18+ and Total People.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday with Total People and all key demographics.

Australia will now head to the Gold Coast for the final match of the Brazil series at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday, 1 December 2024.
