Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 34 000 and an average audience lead of 95 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 161 000 (815 000). Home and Away – episode 2 was #12 with 883 000 (721 000). Home and Away – episode 3 was #14 with 844 00 (695 000). Clarkson’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire UK was #13 with 862 000 (355 000). Why Trains Crash was #30 with 548 000 (169 000).

The Chase UK – 419 000 (201 000)

Sunrise – Early – 567 000 (269 000)

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 609 000 (1 072 000). RBT was #16 with 740 000 (357 000). A repeat of Emergency was #20 with 684 000 (338 000). A repeat of RPA was #34 with 471 000 (240 000). 9News Late was #45 with 346 000 (205 000).

10 News+ was #39 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #32 with 525 000 (262 000). Gogglebox was #9 with 1 016 000 (615 000). The Office Australia was #29 with 550 000 (261 000). A repeat of Law & Order: SVU was #40 with 381 000 (171 000).

ABC News was #5 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 244 000 (783 000). Back Roads was #17 with 730 000 (508 000). Grand Designs NZ was #23 with 621 000 (369 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It was also the No.1 program of the night with People 25 to 54 in Melbourne and Adelaide. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.061 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.299 million, up 14.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD Audience of 175,000, increasing by a massive 92.3% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.609 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.073 million – up 10.4% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 130,000, up a huge 80.6% year-on-year.
  • Thursday Night NRLW Live registered a National Total TV Reach of 942,000 million and a Total TV National Audience of 204,000. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD audience of 38,000.
  • RBT dominated its timeslot with People 25 to 54 , GS + Child and Total People in Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 740,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 357,000 and a BVOD Audience of 27,000.
  • Emergency won its timeslot with People 25 to 54, GS + Child and Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Melbourne and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 684,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 338,000 and a BVOD Audience of 20,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People and all key demographics. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.397 million and a Total TV National Audience of 785,000, increasing by 21.3% on the same day last year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience was 99,000, up a whopping 115.2% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 801,000, a Total TV National Audience of 331,000. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD audience of 55,000, up an impressive 57.1% year-on-year.

 Gogglebox: Some of Australia’s most opinionated and avid TV viewers comment freely on the best and worst television shows they’ve watched over the past week, from the comfort of their living rooms. This week, Goggbloxers watched Survivor: Australia V The World Finale, The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition, Underdogs, and The Thursday Murder Club.   Reached 1.02 million total national viewers. Biggest total audience of the season, up 17% vs. season average. Biggest streaming audience of the season, up 47% vs. season average. #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. Season to-date: Reaching 5.8 million total national viewers.
