Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 181 000 and an average audience lead of 98 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 091 000 (700 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Pre Game was #29 with 553 000 (264 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football was #3 with 1 843 000 (701 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Post Game was #27 with 576 000 (306 000). Kick Ons was on 232 000 (138 000).

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly – 763 000 (300 000)

Britain’s Got Talent – 515 000 (172 000)

The Amazing Race – 279 000 (70 000)

The Chernobyl Disaster (R) – 170 000 (66 000)

Thursday Night NRL Live was #4 with 1 435 000 (669 000). Thursday Night NRL Live – Post Match was #23 with 654 000 (223 000). 9News Late was on 268 000 (160 000).

Deal or No Deal was #36 with 448 000 (239 000). The Project was #22 with 664 000 (282 000). Gogglebox was #12 with 983 000 (583 000). Taskmaster Australia was #14 with 826 000 (316 000). A repeat of Law and Order: SVU was #41 with 393 000 (126 000). 10’s Late News was on 207 000 (109 000).

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 128 000 (651 000). Restoration Australia was #17 with 771 000 (391 000). Melbourne Comedy Festival was #20 with 732 000 (167 000). ABC Late News was on 209 000 (56 000).

SBS World News was #48 with 335 000 (201 000). SBS World News 7pm was on 274 000 (128 000). A repeat of Concorde: Chasing a Dream was #47 with 337 000 (127 000). Sydney’s Super Tunnel was #43 with 360 000 (141 000). Virdee was on 221 000 (56 000)

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It was also the No. 1 news service with the key demographics of GS18+ and People 25-54 across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.957 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.217 million – up 11.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 108,000 was up 42.1% year-on-year. 
  • NRL Thursday Night Footy dominated its timeslot with Total People and all key demographics in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.435 million and a Total TV National Audience of 669,000 up 25.0% year-on-year. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 95,000 – up 39.7% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won its timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.407 million and a Total TV National Audience of 936,000. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD audience of 82,000 – up 26.2% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.409 million, a Total TV National Audience of 738,000 – up 19.0% year-on-year, and a BVOD audience of 62,000 – up 55.0% year-on-year. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 847,000, a Total TV National Audience of 361,000 – up 11.4% and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 27.3% on the same morning last year. 
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday across Australia with People 25-54 and People 16-39. 
  • The 9Network had a Total TV Reach of 5,722,000 on Thursday

• 583,000 average national total audience, up 12% on the H1 2024 overnight average.
• 36,000 BVOD viewers, up 112% on the H1 2024 overnight average.
