Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 243 000 and an average audience lead of 166 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 1 257 000 (835 000). Dream Home was #7 with 1 464 000 (632 000). 911 was #23 with 723 000 (373 000). S.W.A.T was #38 with 417 000 (200 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 518 000 (1 035 000). The Summit was #5 with 1 508 000 ( 542 000). Paramedics was #17 with 837 000 (341 000). Footy Classified was #46 with 353 000 (106 000).

The Project was #16 with 952 000 (387 000). MasterChef Australia was #8 with 1 357 000 (703 000). Have You Been Paying Attention was #9 with 1 286 000 (765 000). An encore of Taskmaster Australia was #25 with 685 000 (273 000).

ABC

ABC News was #12 for the night. Australian Story was #14 with 999 000 (741 000). Four Corners was #13 with 1 064 000 (603 000). Media Watch was #24 with 711 000 (584 000). Q+A was #27 with 576 000 (279 000).

  • 9News was the no. 1 news program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.047 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.280 million (up 5.0% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 91,000 was up 51.3% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in the three largest markets, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.518 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.035 million. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD audience of 73,000 – up 36.8% on the same night last year.
  • The Summit recorded a Total TV National Audience of 542,000 and a BVOD audience of 58,000.
  • Tipping Point won the afternoon game show timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.472 million and a Total TV National Audience of 801,000, representing a 89.5% timeslot lift when compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast program in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 814,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 333,000. Its BVOD audience was 33,000 – up 27.5% on the same morning last year.

MasterChef Australia & Have You Been Paying Attention? Win Timeslots & Nab Commercial Shares!

10 is cooking up the laughs on Mondays with MasterChef Australia and Have You Been Paying Attention? both winning their timeslots and dominating the commercial shares across key demos.

On MasterChef Australia, the cooks had to use at least one of six Asian sauces to deliver a showstopping dish, with the bottom four headed for tomorrow’s pressure test.

MasterChef Australia:

  • 1.36 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 5% week-on-week.
  • #1 in its timeslot and huge commercial shares.
  • 35.6% in 16 to 39s, 31% in 25 to 54s and 30.6% in under 50s.
  • Biggest commercial share of the year in 25 to 54s!
  • #2 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • Live stream: 39,000 viewers, up 35% on the same episode last year.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (132,000), up 20% on 2023 average.

Last night, we checked if Urzila Carlson, Lloyd Langford, Alex Ward, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang had been paying attention? Host Tom Gleisner and special guest quizmaster Claudia Hollingsworth put them to the test.

  • 1.29 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 6% week-on-week.
  • #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 in its timeslot with massive commercial shares!
  • Dominated commercial shares: 49.2% in 16 to 39s, 41.5% in 25 to 54 and 40.8% in under 50s.
  • Audiences loving live stream: 32,000 live stream viewers, up 130% on the same episode last year.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (126,000), up 38% on 2023 average.

Also, last night, 10 was number in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s, plus Deal Or No Deal was up 8% week-on-week, and The Project was up 11%.

Last week, with 7-day viewing, (Monday, 20 May).
