Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 69 000 and an average audience lead of 146 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 374 000 (892 000). My Kitchen Rules was #5 with 1 572 000 (823 000). The Rookie was #17 with 907 000 (365 000). S.W.A.T was #37 with 448 000 (188 000).

The Latest: Seven News – 224 000 (117 000)

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 710 000 (1 109 000). The Block was #1 with 2 182 000 (1 236 000). Bali 2002 was #6 with 1 552 000 (473 000). 9News Late was #33 with 529 000 (236 000).

Chicago Med – 278 000 (92 000)

La Brea – 135 000 (58 000)

Deal or No Deal was #36 with 471 000 (261 000). The Project was #22 with 733 000 (288 000). The Amazing Race Australia – Celebrity was #13 with 1 028 000 (527 000). Have You Been Paying Attention? was #12 with 1 156 000 (695 000). An encore of Taskmaster Australia was #15 with 953 000 (252 000).

10’s Late News – 167 000 (97 000)

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 185 000 (737 000). Australian Story was #16 with 909 000 (564 000). Four Corners was #14 with 973 000 (612 000). Media Watch was #23 with 724 000 (564 000). A repeat of In the Room: Leigh Sales with Lin-Manuel Miranda was #20 with 758 000 (188 000).

  • The Block continues to dominate the 7.30pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.182 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.236 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 191,000 up 13.7% on the same night last year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.060 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.199 million (up 11.6% on the same night last year). Its BVOD Audience of 96,000 was up a massive 54.8% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.710 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.109 million (up 8.4% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 92,000 (up 37.3% on the same night last year).
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.323 million and a Total TV National Audience of 694,000, lifting the time slot by 68.9% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the preferred breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 785,000 and Total TV National Audience of 284,000. Its BVOD Audience was 29,000 – up 7.4% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 Network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with People 25-54 & People 16 to 39.

For The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition And Have You Been Paying Attention?

Last night, the ninth leg of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition saw Olympic legend, Ian Thorpe, and his childhood best mate, Christian Miranda, eliminated from the race. Ian and Christian’s time on the race was in support of ReachOut Australia, a mental health organisation designed with and specifically for young people offering a wide range of support. The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition:

  • 1.03 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 6% in 25 to 54s year-on-year.
  • #2 in its timeslot in under 50s and 25 to 54s.
  • Live stream viewers up 36% on the same episode last year.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever! 143,000 viewers, up 21% vs 2023 series average.

Kitty Flanagan hit the podium last night on Have You Been Paying Attention alongside fellow stand-up comedians Daniel Connell and Sashi Perera and of course rogue regulars, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee. Agile quizmaster, Tom Gleisner, ran the show, breaking down the biggest news stories of the week, and ensuring we got a few correct answers on the board.

Have You Been Paying Attention?

  • 1.16 million total national viewers reached.
  • #1 in its timeslot.
  • Strong commercial shares with 34.7% in 25 to 54s and 34.5% in under 50s.
  • Live stream viewers up 15% on the same episode last year.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever! 111,000 viewers, up 22% vs 2023 series average.

Other highlights across Network 10 (10, 10 Bold Drama, 10 Peach Comedy, Nickelodeon) last night:

  • Nickelodeon: Up 49% week-on-week.
  • 10 News First: Up 7% week-on-week and year-on-year.
  • Deal Or No Deal: Up 7% year-on-year.

7-day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 30 September):

  • The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition: reached 1.31 million total viewers.
  • Have You Been Paying Attention? reached 1.54 million total viewers and was the #2 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

Week 40 (29 September – 5 October):

  • Network 10’s share grew 0.3 points to 20.2% last week and was 25.8% in 25 to 54s up 0.9 points.
  • The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition is averaging a total national audience of 786,000, level with last year and is having its biggest ever BVOD audiences up 21% on 2023.
  • Taskmaster season 3 launch reached of 1.08 million Australians with its biggest BVOD audiences ever.
  • 10 News First weekdays continues to grow up 4% year-on-year since July.
  • 10 Play grew 28% year-on-year last week and is up 36% across the year to date.
