Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach audience loss of 121 000 and an average audience loss of 25 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 322 000 (929 000). Australian Idol – Monday was #7 with 1 398 000 (762 000). 9-1-1 was #18 with 825 000 (322 000). A repeat of Ivan Milat: Buried Secrets was #33 with 478 000 (112 000).

Sunrise – Early – 503 000 (250 000)

The Chase UK – 423 000 (238 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 935 000 (1 196 000). Married at First Sight – Monday was #1 with 3 192 000 (1 866 000). Winter Olympics 2026: Closing Ceremony – Replay was #4 with 2 082 000 (359 000).

Matlock was #38 with 391 000 (139 000). 10’s Late News was #62 with 260 000 (104 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #120 with 120 000 (64 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 374 000 (918 000). Australian Story was #13 with 985 000 (641 000). Four Corners was #12 with 999 000 (585 000). Media Watch was #19 with 808 000 (596 000). Planet America was #17 with 856 000 (546 000). An encore of Dr Karl’s How Things Work was #34 with 456 000 (189 000). ABC Late News was #64 with 258 000 (70 000).

Hard Quiz S3 (R) – 679 000 (343 000)

SBS World News was #55 with 293 000 (192 000). SBS World News 7pm was #45 with 345 000 (146 000).   • Married at First Sight was Australia’s No. 1 program of the night with Total People and all key demos. It was also the No.1 program with Total People and all key demos across all five metro capitals. It also secured a National Total TV Reach of 3.192 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 653,000 – up 33.0% year-on-year.
  • Married at First Sight had its highest-rating national Monday episode in VOZ history across Total TV with 1.866 million and across the 5 City Metro with 1.341 million.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin with all key demos and Total People across Australia. It was also the No.1 news bulletin with Total People and all key demos in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.261 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.396 million – up 12.2% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 194,000 – up 64.4% year-on-year.      
  • 9News also recorded its highest rating 6.00pm bulletin of the year thus far across Total TV Audience with 1.396 million and a Broadcast TV Average Audience of 1.203 million nationally  
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demos and in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. It claimed a National Total TV Reach of 1.935 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.196 million.      
  • A Current Affair recorded a BVOD audience of 199,000 (up 48.5%) year-on-year, its highest ever overnight BVOD audience in VOZ history.  
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.492 million and a Total TV National Audience of 784,000 – up a massive 72.9% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People and People 25-54 in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 911,000 and a BVOD audience of 58,000 – up 41.5% year-on-year.  
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.

Home and Away grows on Seven’s big Monday

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 37.2%
  • 7plus: up 48% year-on-year
  • 7NEWS: reaches 2.14 million
