Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 60 000 and an average audience lead of 23 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 287 000 (845 000). Australian Idol – Monday was #6 with 1 565 000 (823 000). St. Denis Medical was #22 with 720 000 (277 000). A second episode of St Denis Medical was on 277 000 (166 000). First Dates UK was on 294 000 (95 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 954 000 (1 247 000). Married at First Sight – Monday was #1 with 2 726 000 (1 748 000). Dangerous Lies: Unmasking Belle Gibson was #5 with 1 688 000 (883 000). 9News Late was #18 with 802 000 (437 000). Forensics: Murder Scene was #37 with 465 000 (217 000). First on Scene was on 207 000 (140 000).

Deal or No Deal was #33 with 491 000 (269 000). The Project was #17 with 806 000 (325 000). Australian Survivor – Launch was #12 with 1 021 000 (527 000). A repeat of NCIS: Sydney was #28 with 603 000 (190 000). A repeat of NCIS was #34 with 474 000 (90 000). 10’s Late News was on 189 000 (96 000).

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 229 000 (758 000). Australian Story was #15 with 945 000 (647 000). Four Corners was #13 with 1 011 000 (564 000). Media Watch was #19 with 790 000 (640 000). Mozart: Rise of a Genius was #25 with 643 000 (231 000). ABC Late News was on 228 000 (64 000).

SBS World News was on 259 000 (154 000). SBS World News 7pm was #50 with 317 000 (126 000). Wilderness with Simon Reeve was #44 with 341 000 (102 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night across Australia and in all five metro capitals with all key demos and Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.726 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.748 million – up 27.3% year-on-year. On 9Now, it achieved a BVOD audience of 490,000 – up 59.6% year-on-year. 
  • 9News won its timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.139 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.307 million (up 12.5% on the same night last year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 115,000 was up 38.6% year-on-year. 
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with all key demos and Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.954 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.307 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 115,000 – up 39.4% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.389 million and a Total TV National Audience of 713,000, up by 9.7% when compared to the same day last year. 
  • Dangerous Lies | Unmasking Belle Gibson achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.688 million, a Total TV National Audience of 883,000 and a BVOD Audience of 148,000. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 813,000 and a BVOD audience of 41,000 – up 28.1% on the same morning last year. 
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with all key demos and Total People.

Seven reaches 5.3 million, 7NEWS on top in news, Australian Idol grows

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 36.3%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 33.6%

·       7plus: up 9% year-on-year
