Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 63 000 and an average audience loss of 50 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 422 000 (934 000). Farmer Wants a Wife – Monday was #6 with 1 588 000 (890 000). 9-1-1 was #18 with 871 000 (427 000). A second new episode of 9-1-1 was #32 with 522 000 (286 000). The Agenda Setters was #45 with 376 000 (174 000).

The Chase UK – 401 000 (186 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 817 000 (1 160 000). Lego Masters: Grand Masters of the Galaxy – Monday was #3 with 1 818 000 (765 000). 100% Footy aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #26 with 653 000 (184 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #36 with 462 000 (117 000). 9News Late was on 259 000 (135 000). Aussie Road Train Truckers was on 186 000 (74 000). Players aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 191 000 (58 000).

Tipping Point UK (R) – 613 000 (353 000)

Deal or No Deal was #31 with 543 000 (297 000). The Project was #16 with 915 000 (389 000). MasterChef Australia – Monday was #12 with 1 240 000 (676 000). Have You Been Paying Attention was #10 with 1 298 000 (803 000). Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers was #17 with 893 000 (260 000). 10’s Late News was on 262 000 (132 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 429 000 (924 000). Australian Story was #13 with 1 079 000 (735 000). Four Corners was #14 with 1 065 000 (624 000). Media Watch was #22 with 799 000 (631 000). Jane Austen: Rise of a Genius was #21 with 811 000 (302 000). ABC Late News was #49 with 336 000 (79 000).

SBS World News was #46 with 369 000 ( 000). SBS World News 7pm was #38 with 409 000 (188 000). A repeat of Portillo’s Andalucia was on 319 000 (155 000). A repeat of Michael Palin in Nigeria was #48 with 363 000 (121 000). A repeat of Inside Windsor Castle was on 260 000 (100 000).

  • LEGO® Masters Grand Masters of the Galaxy won its timeslot with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.818 million, Total TV National Audience of 765,000 and a BVOD audience of 74,000 – up 21.3% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No.1 program with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No.1 program in Adelaide with People 25-54 and People 16-39, as well as the No.1 program in Perth with People 16-39. The combined national bulletins claimed a National Total TV Reach of 2.271 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.514 million (up 11.7% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 145,000 was up 49.5% on the same night last year. This was the highest rating weekday bulletin of 9News for the year so far.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.817 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.160 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 107,000 – up 37.2% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.667 million and a Total TV National Audience of 888,000 (up 8.0% on the same day last year). On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 87,000 – up a massive 61.1% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 787,000, a Total TV National Audience of 304,000 and a BVOD audience of 44,000 – up 25.7% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54.

Seven’s winning Monday – 7NEWS #1 program, 7plus #1 in BVOD

  • Seven #1 nationally in total TV
  • National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 41.2%
