Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 10 000 and an average audience loss of 33 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 429 000 (903 000). The Voice – Monday was #5 with 1 658 000 (859 000). 9-1-1 was #17 with 797 000 (368 000). A second episode of 9-1-1 was #34 with 460 000 (273 000). The Agenda Setters was #68 with 242 000 (81 000).

The Chase UK – 345 000 (170 000)

The Agenda Setters (7mate) – 185 000 (96 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 835 000 (1 198 000). The Block – Monday was #3 with 1 952 000 (1 074 000). 100% Footy aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #23 with 684 000 (187 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #26 with 563 000 (203 000). Opal Hunters: Red Dirt Road Trip was #58 with 288 000 (100 000). Players aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #71 with 236 000 (61 000). 9News Late was #89 with 176 000 (88 000). A repeat of A Killer Makes a Call aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #203 with 80 000 (38 000).

10 News+ was #38 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #31 with 554 000 (310 000). MasterChef Australia – Monday was #8 with 1 353 000 (712 000). Have You Been Paying Attention was #10 with 1 288 000 (761 000). An encore of Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #18 with 792 000 (191 000). 10’s Late News was #87 with 178 000 (96 000).

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 280 000 (790 000). Australian Story was #14 with 1 020 000 (734 000). Four Corners was #13 with 1 041 000 (668 000). Media Watch was #20 with 757 000 (629 000). Planet America was #22 with 694 000 (453 000). ABC Late News was #47 with 342 000 (85 000).

  • The Block was the No. 1 entertainment program across Australia and in all five metro capital cities with Total People. It was also the No.1 program of the night with People 16 to 39 across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.952 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.074 million – up 11.0% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 185,000 – up 17.1% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.267 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.492 million. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 147,000 up 26.7% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated its timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People and all key demographics. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.835 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.198 million. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 123,000 – up 20.6% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and in all five metro capitals with Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.584 million and a Total TV National Audience of 839,000. On 9Now it registered a BVOD Audience of 83,000, up an impressive 45.6% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with People 25 to 54 and People 16 to 39 across the 5 City Metro and in Melbourne. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 809,000, a Total TV National Audience of 312,000. On 9Now its BVOD audience was 45,000.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with Total People and all key demographics.

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 39.4%

Up 15% vs. season average. Season-to-date: Reaching 10.8 million total national viewers. #2 in timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 4 August): Reached 1.3 million total viewers.   Have You Been Paying Attention?: Swapping her view from The Cheap Seats for a podium position on Have You Been Paying Attention?, Melanie Bracewell is back for her first episode this season alongside Mick Molloy and Celia Pacquola. Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang round out the team, and as always, there’s no show without quizmaster Tom Gleisner standing by with a fresh stack of questions.   Reached 1.29 million total national viewers. #1 in its timeslot. Strong commercial shares with 34.9% in total people, 45.3% in 16 to 39s and 41.1% in 25 to 54s. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 4 August): Reached 1.36 million total viewers.
