Seven News was #1 with wins in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in the same markets. Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football was #8 overall, but #1 non news in primetime with 427 000 fans watching. Better Homes and Gardens had to settle for #14 with 247 000. The reason for the lower result is that Perth unusually had an AFL game on the main channel, which pushed the gardening show to 7two for three markets, with the others being Melbourne and Adelaide.

Nine News was #4 with a win in Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #3 with a win again in Brisbane. A Current Affair was #5 overall, but #1 in its slot with 535 000. Friday Night NRL Live – Pre Match was #13 with 247 000. Friday Night NRL Live was #9 with 329 000 watching across 9 and 9Gem.

The Project 6:30pm was #27 with 151 000. The Project 7pm was #24 with 165 000. Bondi Rescue was #30 with 143 000. The 8pm repeat of Bondi Rescue that followed, rated slightly higher at #29 with 145 000. A repeat of Ambulance Australia had 155 000. A repeat of Territory Cops was on 118 000. A second repeat episode of Territory Cops was on 107 000. A late night repeat of Ambulance Australia was on 92 000.
ABC
ABC News was #6 for the night and sat behind ACA in the slot. Gardening Australia was #10 with 320 000. Traces had 149 000 watching. Mayfair Witches scared up 90 000 viewers. Interview with the Vampire aired late night to 58 000.
