Seven News was #1 with wins in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. There was a tie in Melbourne. Seven News at 6.30 was #2 with wins in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. Better Homes and Gardens was #9 with 352 000 viewers. The movie, As Good As It Gets aired in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth to 119 000. A late night encore of SAS Australia aired in the same markets to just 20 000. Melbourne viewers took the cricket on the main channel with 25 000 watching the WBBL – Perth v Melbourne Renegades.
Nine
Nine News was #3 with a tie in Melbourne. Nine News 6.30 was #4 with wins in Melbourne and Brisbane. A Current Affair was #5 overall, but was #1 in its slot with 501 000. A new episode of Beach House Hunters was #12 with 286 000. A second new episode of Beach House Hunters was #14 with 238 000. An encore of the launch episode of My Mum Your Dad was watched by 104 000. A repeat of the second episode of My Mum Your Dad was on 81 000.

The Project 6.30pm was #33 with 122 000. The Project 7pm was #20 with 177 000. An encore of The Graham Norton Show was on 133 000 and landed at #28. An encore of Have You Been Paying Attention? improved on its lead in and was #25 with 144 000. A repeat of The Graham Norton Show was on 89 000. Another episode of The Road to the Melbourne Cup was on 23 000.
ABC
ABC News was #6 and sat behind ACA in the slot. Gardening Australia was #8 with 376 000. The show won its slot and was the #1 non news program for the night in primetime. The new season of the delightful Under the Vines was #11 with 301 000. A repeat of Midsomer Murders was #22 with 170 000.
