Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football was #1 with 290 000 fans, rising 1%. Friday Night NRL Live was #4 with 223 000, an upswing of 19%. Gardening Australia was #7 with 128 000, a lift of 49%. Endeavour was #13 with 103 000, an increase of 124%. Better Homes and Gardens was #18 with 96 000, a boost of 12%. A repeat of The Graham Norton Show had just 70 000 viewers, growth of 8%.

Seven News was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. It should be noted that Seven News at 6:30 ran solo, with Nine opting for live NRL coverage from 6:30 in Brisbane. Better Homes and Gardens was #11 with 353 000 and sat ahead of Gardening Australia, which given that Better Homes was on 7two in some markets, makes the result even greater. Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football was #4 with 448 000 viewers. Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football – Post Match was #8 with 404 000.
Nine
Nine News was #3 with a win in Sydney and Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #5 with a win in Sydney. There was no news service in Brisbane at 6:30 due to live NRL coverage. Friday Night Live NRL Pre Match was #16 with 237 000. Friday Night NRL Live was #7 with 428 000. The season final of For the Love of Pets had a total of 149 000 viewers with the show airing on the main channel in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and on 9Gem in Sydney and Brisbane.

The Project 6:30pm was on 115 000. The Project 7pm was on 141 000. 10 aired live coverage of the Socceroos and Ecuador match in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide on the main channel and scored 83 000 from those three markets. Sydney was on 41 000, Melbourne, 28 000 and Adelaide just 13 000. Post game coverage was on 77 000 from those three markets. Pre game coverage only aired in Sydney and Melbourne on the main channel with a result of 48 000 from those two markets. Schedules were mixed across the network due to the live nature of the game but an overall share of just 5.4% is a disappointing result for the league. The Graham Norton Show repeat aired in Brisbane (18 000) and Perth (30 000) on the main channel.
ABC
ABC News was #6 overall, but #1 in its slot. Gardening Australia was #12 with 335 000 viewers and sat behind Better Homes and Gardens. With Seven deciding to show the Brisbane match on the main channel and Better Homes and Gardens sent to 7two, Gardening Australia really found its mark with an audience of 40 000 in that market, compared to just 17 000 for Better Homes and Gardens. The new season premiere of Van Der Valk was #15 with 269 000. A repeat of Jack Irish had a late night audience of 84 000.
