Better Homes and Gardens
Better Homes and Gardens is a beloved Australian television program airing on the Seven Network, inspired by the magazine of the same name, published domestically by Are Media under license from Dotdash Meredith in the U.S. The show covers a diverse range of lifestyle topics, including gardening, landscaping, architecture, cooking, DIY projects, pet care, and home improvement, often featuring celebrity guests. Since 2005, it has been hosted by former Commonwealth Games swimmer turned TV presenter Johanna Griggs.
The program’s rich history includes accolades like a record 12th Silver Logie Award in 2014 for Australia’s Most Popular Lifestyle Program. Created by Peter E. Fox, the show debuted in 1995 and has celebrated milestones such as its 1000th episode in June 2018.
Longtime contributors include gardening expert Graham Ross, who has been with the show since its inception, and resident vet Dr. Harry Cooper, who joined in 2004.
Better Homes and Gardens continues to be a staple of Australian television, blending practical advice with entertainment for audiences nationwide.
Better Homes and Gardens airs at 7.00pm Fridays on 7 / 7two and streams on 7plus
