Weekly Ratings Australia – Week 29
The weekly shares below come from the VOZ weekly results, while the analysis is built from TV Central’s published daily ratings articles for Sunday 12 July to Saturday 18 July 2026.
Total People Network Share – Free-To-Air
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 30.9% |
| Nine | 25.1% |
| ABC | 18.9% |
| 10 | 13.8% |
| SBS | 11.3% |
Seven’s Total People win was built across the full week rather than one breakout night, with the network winning every night from Sunday through Saturday. The win had several different pillars: Farmer Wants A Wife and Seven’s entertainment schedule early in the week, Home and Away through the weekdays, and a decisive Friday result from AFL Friday Night Football.
The week was not without pressure elsewhere. SBS had major reach spikes from the FIFA World Cup semi-finals, Nine remained second for the week on 25.1%, and ABC’s best nightly result came on Saturday even though its week-to-date share settled at 18.9%. 10’s strongest part of the week was Monday and Tuesday, helped by the Working Dog pairing of Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats, alongside MasterChef Australia.
25-54 Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 41.6% |
| Nine | 35.4% |
| 10 | 23.0% |
Seven won 25 to 54s for the week, but it was not a clean sweep night-by-night. Nine edged Saturday night, 40.2% to Seven’s 39.5%, helped by sport, including Wallabies v Italy.
Seven’s biggest 25 to 54 result came on Friday, when AFL Friday Night Football lifted the network to a 49.5% commercial share. The published daily results also show 10 remained most competitive early in the week, when MasterChef Australia, Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats gave the network its strongest younger-demo shape.
16-39 Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 41.4% |
| Nine | 36.5% |
| 10 | 22.1% |
Seven also won 16 to 39s for the week, again taking six of the seven nights. Nine’s exception was Saturday, where it won the night with 43.5%, driven by a sport-heavy schedule.
10’s best run in 16 to 39s came from Sunday to Tuesday. That lines up with the daily articles’ strongest 10 stories: MasterChef Australia across the front of the week, Have You Been Paying Attention? on Monday and The Cheap Seats on Tuesday.
Grocery Shoppers 18+ Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 44.5% |
| Nine | 35.7% |
| 10 | 19.8% |
Grocery Shoppers 18+ was Seven’s clearest weekly win, with the network taking every night in the demo. The result was helped by Seven’s week-long news strength, Farmer Wants A Wife, Home and Away, Better Homes and Gardens and the Friday AFL audience.
10 again performed best on Monday and Tuesday, matching the pattern seen across the younger commercial demos.
