The Australian Children’s and Family Content Industry return to Coffs Coast in 2026 – As Australia’s premier and only platform for the children’s and family content industry to network, collaborate, share insights and build significant business relationships, the Australian Children’s Content Summit will be held from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August 2026 at Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales in Australia.

This year’s Australian Children’s Content Summit saw 260 delegates from 12 countries attend the event, which was again hosted by Emma Watkins, known for her ARIA award-winning musical children’s show ‘Emma Memma’.

Next year’s summit will return with inspiring speakers, engaging sessions, incredible pitching opportunities, key workshops, curated matchmaking, ice-breaker events, unparalleled networking connections, outdoor experiences and much more – all set in Australia’s stunning NSW coastal backdrop.

SLR Productions CEO and Australian Children’s Content Summit Founder Suzanne Ryan said,

“The Australian Children’s Content Summit has become a flagship event for the children’s and family industry.  The Coffs Coast is now where delegates from this industry come together once a year to connect, partner and do business.  We have built into the program a signature ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ series, which allows delegates to take their meetings outside and explore the Coffs Coast while connecting in a more relaxed and inspiring environment.  We’re fortunate to host these conversations in such a unique setting, as we celebrate the power of stories for local and international audiences – while also delivering significant cultural and economic benefits to the region”.

City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams said,

“The City of Coffs Harbour is incredibly proud to welcome the Australian Children’s Content Summit back in 2026.  Each year it has brought the global children’s and family content industry to our region and shines a spotlight on the Coffs Coast as a world-class destination for both creativity and production.  By partnering with SLR Productions and the Australian Children’s Content Summit, we are showcasing our stunning landscapes to global executives including with a helicopter location tour that highlights the region’s enormous potential for future screen projects.  We look forward to continuing this journey and building on the exciting opportunities ahead for the Coffs Coast.  As the Destination Partner we proudly welcome delegates by offering a dedicated tourism stand at the event, providing the opportunity to explore the Coffs Coast – a coastal getaway in Northern New South Wales that has it all and is proudly the state’s first ECO Destination”.

As part of its partnership, SLR Productions, Australian Children’s Content Summit and the City of Coffs Harbour delivered a landmark ‘Screen Location Tour’ for ten global executives, including a helicopter showcase of the breathtaking Coffs Coast.  This past initiative not only highlighted the region’s appeal as a filming location but also reinforced the Australian Children’s Content Summit’s role in driving meaningful industry opportunities for the region.

Over the past three years, the Australian Children’s Content Summit has been a resounding success, attracting 260 delegates from 12 countries, including a distinguished line-up of industry leaders from ABC, NITV, BBC, BBC Studios, CBC, PBS Kids, Apple TV+, Disney, Netflix, Sony, Paramount, ITV, Amazon Kids+ Originals, Warner Bros Discovery Kids, YouTube, Nine, Hello Sunshine, and many more.  The summit continues to grow in both impact and reach, establishing itself as a key platform for connection, collaboration and conversation across the global children’s content industry.

In addition to world-class speakers, pitches and panels, the Summit provides unique opportunities for delegates to engage in activities that showcase the Coffs Coast and its potential as a screen destination.

The Australian Children’s Content Summit continues to provide a unique setting for high-level and industry relevant activities from speaker panels, exclusive content pitches and business discussions to outdoor adventures and fun social engagements.  It has firmly established itself as Australia’s premier platform for the children’s and family content industry to network, collaborate, share insights and build significant business relationships.

The Australian Children’s Content Summit remains the only dedicated event of its kind in the country, proudly celebrating the power and potential of stories for local and international audiences, while also delivering significant cultural and economic benefits to the Coffs Coast region.

The 2025 Australian Children’s Content Summit was proudly supported by a wide network of partners across Government, industry and commercial sectors.
