Freya Fires Up on Sky News Australia hosted by Freya Leach – Sky News has announced it will premiere Freya Fires Up, a new discussion program hosted by Sky News host Freya Leach on Sunday 17 August at 6.00pm AEST.
Just months after joining the popular weeknight Sky News program The Late Debate as a co-host,each Sunday evening Freya will drive unique conversations and offer her view on Australia’s top news stories and global events.
Freya Leach said:
“I’m excited to bring bold ideas, fresh perspectives and fearless debate to Sky News Australia. I care deeply about Australia but see a nation that’s losing its way. I’m fired up and I won’t hold back.”
Freya will continue to co-host The Late Debate with James Macpherson and Caleb Bond each Monday – Thursday at 10.00pm AEST.
A passionate up-and-coming political commentator, Freya ran as the Liberal candidate for Balmain in the 2023 NSW state election while still at university.
Freya is also the Director of the Centre for Youth Policy at the Menzies Research Centre and recently completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney.
