SPA Announces Successful Submissions For Pitch on Demand 2025 – Today, Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is thrilled to announce the SPA members who have secured a pitch with one or more of the premium content commissioners participating in the 2025 iteration of Pitch On Demand.
Pitch On Demand, renowned for its accessible and streamlined pitching process, continues to provide valuable opportunities for producers to fast-track pathways to audiences and build meaningful industry connections.
This year, the participating commissioners included Apple TV+, Foxtel Group, and Shudder / IFC Entertainment, each providing detailed briefs to guide producers. Executives engaged with applicants via written briefs and live webinars, offering insights into the type of projects they are seeking.
The 2025 initiative received an overwhelming response, with 126 members submitting 192 tailored one-page pitches. The selection process was highly competitive, with 18 producers progressing to the pitching stage. Submissions were assessed on the quality of the project and alignment with the specific briefs of each platform.
SPA CEO Matthew Deaner acknowledged the talent and commitment demonstrated by the participants, saying:

Beyond providing immediate opportunities, Pitch On Demand fosters industry relationships and highlights the depth and breadth of talent in Australian screen production.”
