Nine’s Australian Open Broadcast Schedule – Day 7

The next generation of tennis superstars is ready to step up and begin their charge for Grand Slam glory with Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, Sebastian Korda and Jessica Pegula on court in Day 7 of the Australian Open, available on Channel 9HD, 9GemHD and to stream on 9Now.

Dubbed the “Greek God” by his rising fan base, No.3 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet with Italy’s Jannik Sinner (No.15) tonight from 7.00pm on Channel 9HD, as they aim to pounce on their first Grand Slam title by booking a spot in the quarter finals.
Giant slaying American Sebastian Korda, fresh off beating 2022 finalist Daniil Medvedev in straight sets, meets his next target – Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz (No.10), as he looks to emulate his fathers victory in 1998 and show the world why he is a serious contender for the men’s singles title.

Women’s world No.1 Iga Swiatek comes up against Elena Rybakina (No.22 seed) in the day session, as she keeps her eye on the rising stars trying to knock her off her perch.

In the chasing pack is America’s Jessica Pegula (No.3) and Coco Gauff (No.7), who are both looking to take the next step to securing their breakthrough Grand Slam title in their fourth round match ups across the day session on 9GemHD.

Forming as the joker in the pack is eight-time Grand Slam winner Victoria Azarenka (No.24) who will play China’s Lin Zhu in the night session on Channel 9HD.

The Legends Doubles also begins today with Mark Philippoussis and Marcos Baghdatis teaming up to take on the most successful doubles combination of all time – identical twins Bob and Mike Bryan, from 11.00am.

Coverage is be hosted by James Bracey, Roz Kelly and Tony Jones, while on 9Gem, Nick McArdle, Emma Lawrence and Seb Costello will host Nine’s broadcast.
