NFL on ESPN week 8 broadcast schedule

NFL on ESPN – ESPN brings six live games in NFL Week Eight with high flying Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers all in action.

Week Eight begins Friday October 27 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet the Buffalo Bills at 11.15am AEDT.

Both teams were handed narrow losses in Week Seven, and both were to conference rivals – the Buccs losing by a field goal to the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo by four, to their fierce rivals New England.

Tampa Bay have fallen a game behind the Falcons, sitting at 3-3 and Buffalo behind the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East.

Monday October 30 sees a four-game marathon back-to-back in a huge day of live NFL.

Kicking off at 4am AEDT, the Los Angeles Rams clash with the Dallas Cowboys, on ESPN.

The Cowboys will be refreshed following the bye last round and will contend with a Rams outfit who will hope to return to winning ways.

Dallas remains locked in the race for the NFC East but have slipped behind the 6-1 Eagles and won’t want to drop this one.

Also, at 4am AEDT over on ESPN2, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers collide.

Jacksonville sits atop the AFC South and have put together four straight wins.

The Steelers have won back-to-back games to improve to 4-2, and just one win behind the Baltimore Ravens in the conference race.

Following on at 7.25am AEDT, the Cincinnati Bengals face off with the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers were stunned last round, falling 22-17 to the Vikings. Having gone the first five weeks of the season undefeated, suddenly they’ve been handed back-to-back losses.

It is the opposite story for the Bengals, who started the season slowly, but have since put two straight wins together.

Monday’s action concludes at 11.15am AEDT when the Chicago Bears have a crunch clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Chicago upset Las Vegas last round to register their second win of the campaign and cut the gap to the Packers and Vikings above them in the NFC North.

Hopes will be high they can add another to the win column against the Chargers, who have lost their last two on the bounce.

The Week Eight NFL coverage concludes on Tuesday October 31 at 11.15am AEDT when the conference leading Detroit Lions tackle the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Lions were handed a lesson in Week Seven, routed 38-6 by the Baltimore Ravens, having previously won four straight games.

Detroit still lead the NFC North at 5-2 and will be favourites against the Raiders, who continued their up and down form in Week Seven.

A 30-12 loss to Chicago has them 2-3 in their last five and yet to find any real consistency this season.
