The 9Network and 9Now completely dominated the week, with Game 3 of the State of Origin attracting a National Total TV audience of 3.6 million viewers. The 9Network’s key performance highlights are as follows:

  • The 9Network was No. 1 in Week 29 with all key demos and Total People, recording the following Broadcast TV primetime shares across the 5 City Metro:
    • People 25-54: 43.49%
    • People 16-39: 45.60% 
    • Grocery Shopper 18+: 41.64% 
    • Total People: 42.47%
  • 9Now was No. 1 in Week 29 with all key demos and Total People, recording the following CFTA shares across Australia (measured across the entire day):
    • People 25-54: 50.68%
    • People 16-39: 55.34%
    • Grocery Shopper 18+: 47.83%
    • Total People: 48.63%
  • Travel Guides was Australia’s No. 1 entertainment program of the week with People 25-54, GS 18+ and Total People.
  • Game 3 of the State of Origin (Monday to Friday) dominated week 29 viewing, winning all key demos and Total People. Watched by a Total TV National audience of 3.6 million viewers, the game was the country’s most live streamed sporting event ever broadcast.  
  • 9News was once again the No. 1 news bulletin for the week with Total People across the 5 City Metro.  This marks the 8th consecutive week that 9News has been No. 1 across the 5 City Metro 
  • Nine’s Olympic broadcast begins this coming week, with Today and A Current Affair broadcasting from Paris.

Seven reaches 11.8 million, 7plus jumps 24%
