Series One, Episode One:
While Claire Delval, an investigating judge, celebrates the 75th birthday of her father, the politician Simon Delval, she discovers with horror that he is involved in the corruption case she has been investigating for years.
Claire must withdraw from the case and face the guilt of seeing her father destroyed. Mark Van Dyck, a discreet and competent politician, hopes to take the vacant position left by Simon Delval.
He believes his time has finally come. However, his president decides otherwise, judging that he is not popular enough. Humiliated, Mark takes it. A gruesome incident changes everything.
